Out and About: Danes, Palermo, Moss, Witherspoon

Claire Danes grabs a bite to eat with a friend in NYC. I have not yet begun Homeland, but know I'm missing out big time. Going to try to catch up after the holidays.

 Kate Moss was also out for a bite to eat. Total model off duty.

 Reese Witherspoon perfects the Californian Christmas look while tending to business in Brentwood. She said she had a Santa's Helper outfit for her young son to wear this season.

Jessica Alba looks a little tired as she arrives at work with her packed lunch and lots of water.

 Olivia Palermo looks anything but tired as she strolls through NYC. Her purse...so perfect.

Hot Couples of the Minute MegaPost

 Ok these two are not a couple, but it's like two of my most favorite people to blog about side by side so I can't resist. Kiki in Dior and KStew in Erdem. Something about pantyhose turns me off big time. Tights I'm fine with, pantyhose is gross starting with the word. What do we think of KStew's edge? Does it pay off?

 Ok so here's the couple. Baby grandma to the MAX Kiki still slays me in being able to land the hot piece that is Garrett Hedlund. She wrapped up her Christmas Choral Concert and made her way to an On the Road screening with her buddy who seems obsessed with sheer tummy looks. 

Ashton and Milla take their dogs for a stroll in Hollywood before she heads out to a late night photoshoot. At this time, neither Demi nor Ashton have filed for divorce, but have been legally separated for over a year. Wonder what is holding them back, they sure seem over it?

Celeb Potpourri: Rosie, Kate, Jessica, Anne

Amanda Seyfried skipped the opportunity for a third McQueen look in a row in favor of a Michael Kors shift. It has a lot of the same elements as her look from the previous day, but she looks youthful with her hair down, lighter makeup, and shorter hemline. I can't decide which look I like more, but I think it might be the gown since it is different for her!

 Anne Hathaway wore a skimpy, spring time Nina Ricci dress to a party honoring her co-star Hugh Jackman.

 I much prefer this simple textured Cushnie et Ochs dress with festive heels for Jimmy Fallon. I love me some winter white!

I love, love, love Amanda Seyfried in this Alexander McQueen. The dark, sophisticated look is perfect for this major movie moment as she premieres Les Mis.  Everything about this look is dead on.

But her movie mom? Wearing a Tom Ford dress with a poofy cape and vegan leather over-the-knee cut-out boots, Anne Hathaway went beyond experimental and took it to the extreme. Leave this look for Helena Bonham Carter!

ACA 2012 Fashion: Underwood, Rimes, Chenoweth

Hillary Scott announced her pregnancy with her first child leading into the American Country Awards. She is one month shy of her first wedding anniversary.

 Carrie Underwood loves her some fringe. This peachy orange is a new color for her. She wore a Georges Chakra mini dress with fringed BA heels. I am predicting a baby bump very soon.

 I always forget LeAnn Rimes kind of has a place at the ACAs. She wore a Dolce dress with Tom Ford heels, not one to miss out on a chance to wear something body con. What do you think of Brandi's accusation that LeAnn keeps laxative pills all over her house and purse?

Out Shopping: JSimpson, Tiz, Reed, Duff

Jessica Simpson headed out of hibernation to shop for Christmas duds at Barney's with former assistant CaCee Cobb. She is expecting her second child next year.

 Ashley Tisdale picks up clothes from her favorite store, Planet Blue, in Beverly Hills. She must have an all-access pass to the entire store for how much she shops there and talks about it. 

Hilary Duff was also headed for Barney's in Beverly Hills in skinny jeans and a Chanel jacket. Digging her oversized aviators!

And one more Barney's fan, Nikki Reed, dropped in to shop in leather leggings. She recently said her husband helps her pick out most outfits (not picked by a stylist) and that he is super metro in his fashion sense.

LA Mamas: Duff, Alba, Beckinsale, Ambrosio

I forgot to tell you I was off to the land of OZ last Thursday, but hopefully you kept up with my journey via Twitter or the Gram. My Dad and I checked in with loads of relatives I haven't seen in well over a decade (or ever in some cases). My Great Aunt Elise gave me some old school German cooking lessons and I finally attended my first home game for my beloved Jayhawks. It was extremely conflicting watching them pound on my alma mater, but the vibe in Allen Fieldhouse was something I'd always wanted to experience. Most of all, I won't forget getting a personal tour of all the places that meant something to my parents in their younger years and hearing stories from those who knew them way back when.

On to the celebs! Jessica Alba does the normal mom thing with a Target run. She did have some assistants with her, but that's as normal as we get around here.

 After picking up her girls, Honor and Haven, they made their way to lunch at Tavern in Brentwood, where I will be spending part of my New Year's Eve. Have you made your NYE plans yet? I want to hear if you are dining it up, dancing it up, or snuggling it up! I always fluctuate on my ideal evening.

 Hilary Duff dines at the Four Seasons with Mike and Luca. I feel like Hilary has been a mom for years for some reason. Maybe because we learned about her pregnancy so early on, but it just seems way more than 8 months!

 Kate Beckinsale lightens up her look a little for shopping in LA. Love her.
