DON's Deal: Happy Halloween!

Hope you have a very Happy Halloween! My costume is a bikini and I'm being an event planner attempting zen before all her clients arrive tomorrow.

DON's Deal: Vichy Treatment

After telling you about my Rainforest Experience, I thought I should share the comedy that is a Vichy treatment. It resembles a massage table placed under a row of shower nozzles. I couldn't find a photo, but this room looks very similar.

A Vichy treatment could easily be renamed the Eccentric Shower. You lie on a table and get scrubbed down with exfoliation cream. This is fine expect for weird areas like your belly and neck. Then you are covered with a bedsheet and the shower nozzles are turned on. I cannot express how much this feel like you are wetting the bed. From there you are rinsed off, limb by limb, followed by towel drying. This is capped by a full body lotioning; again kind of nice except for weird things like having my belly button lotioned up. Finally there is a head massage. Head massages are awesome, but when you just had somebody essentially give you a bath and lotion you up, washing my hair was the only thing missing. Instead there is a head massage which leaves you with less than sexy hair. Think Monica Geller in Barbados.

Was it nice? Yes, but mostly I felt like this is something meant for the craziest of rich divas, namely Mariah Carey. It was a nice distraction from the stress of awaiting air travel reports. :( Hope you are all safe and well. Appreciate prayers and good thoughts that my East Coast clients make it here!

DON's Deal: Punta Mita
