Cute Dress: Swift, LC, Ritter

I have always been a sucker for jewel tones. My dress collection is all bright and happy (plus the requisite hoard for LBDs). Taylor Swift has been wearing almost exclusively red dresses while promoting her new album Red (which is 0% Country and I like about 3 songs on it). 

But I love this dress.

 No surprise it is RED Valentino, the little sister line to the romantic, red-loving original fashion line. And I want almost everything they make.

But this feminine and timeless dress is looking very appealing for holiday parties, work events, and countless other occasions this winter. I also really loved Lauren Conrad in this Tracy Reese dress. Very flattering lines.

Alice and Olivia is one of my favorite party dress lines and Krysten Ritter loves them, too. She wore this Aemelia dress with studded leather shoulders and the perfect A-line skirt while in New York. I can so see fellow AO lover Kourtney Kardashian in this.

I enjoy mentally trying on the dresses I like on celebrities and then figuring out what I would actually wear them to. I see so many opportunities for these!!

A Lister for Vogue: Aniston, Stefani, Posh, Perry

Jennifer Aniston wore all black to the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show at the Chateau Marmont yesterday. It is 90, yes 90, degrees here so she must have been a little toasty. By her side was Isla Fisher.

 Emma Roberts is working a mini Stella McCartney. So many florals this fall! Somebody does need to share with her that the brassy hair trend is over, TG.

 Gwen Stefani always nails it, but I am not getting this Calvin Klein tuxedo at all.

 Jaime King's Giambattista Valli dress is so beautiful, but looks a little too big on her.  And her hair is giving me Kate Bosworth faces; volumizer is a must! Katy Perry was also there in a graphic Wes Gordon dress.

 January Jones in Rachel Zoe. I love this on her and I bet she is the most comfortable person there.

 Mandy Moore wore her hair sleek with a David Koma skirt and sweater. Love the skirt.

 Victoria Beckham in Victoria Beckham. Duh.

Flaunt that Figure: Halle, Katy, Sophia, Jennifer

So you know my big annual trip to Mexico where I plan non-stop fun for 100 clients at some majestic resort? Yeah, I leave Monday. And my thoughts right now drift from final touches to I'm about to be spending all day in a bikini with my all-male sales team.  Today I'm saying goodbye to carbs and will be hitting the gym with this much enthusiasm.

Hollywood Ladies: Reese, Audrina, AnnaSophia, Krysten

 Has Reese Witherspoon gone hipster? She is so BoHo since giving birth! It's so not her, but it kind of works. I wonder if Rachel Zoe has got her hands on her - everything from the bangs to the hat says so.

 Rosie Huntington-Whiteley does some shopping in LA. She recently said her favorite go to pieces are jeans, tees, silk camisoles, leather pants, and sky high heels. She loathes logo shirts and Hello Kitty on adults. Remind me to never seat her next to Mariah at a dinner party.

Audrina Patridge does some shopping in Los Angeles in some very rocker snakeskin pants and her ever present Chanel.

 AnnaSophia Robb gets golden for the premiere of her long-awaited show The Carrie Diaries. I doubt any emerging star will be judged harder than this chick trying to be Carrie Bradshaw. On another note, I was online shopping for a gold dress for a friend last night and there is way too many tacky gold dresses. This has been an awesome challenge to find something not Vegas-ready and sequined out the yang.

Vanessa Hudgens must be stopped. Dress is Love and Lemons and I suppose she must be friends with AnnaSophia Robb because she is not on the show.

 Love this printed dress by Naeem Khan on Dreama Walker at her Don't Trust the B in Apt 23 premiere. Very elegant.

 Less elegant would be this Reem Acra on Krysten Ritter. Is jet black hair coming back? Between Vanessa Hudgens and this one, I'm confused.

Celeb Potpourri: Mischa, Kim, KStew, Anne

Guys! Look who I found! Mischa Barton is doing promotional appearance in Austria. I'm glad she can still find work somewhere. As for her look, I assume her bags got lost and she borrowed from some ancient hostess. And her lipstick, too.

Kristen Stewart is all smiles now that she has reconciled with her boo Rob Pattinson. She is getting busy promoting the final Breaking Dawn film in Toyko.

Her buddy Taylor promotes what must be his most awkward role in South America. "Give the baby sexier eyes, Jacob." Barf.
