Butter Premiere NYC: Garner, Greene, Wilde, Silverstone

I always love premiere pics for films with a bunch of women because I feel like the ladies really try to bring their A game to the red carpet. Olivia Wilde returns to glamour in this white body con Alexander McQueen. Winter white ladies, it's gonna be big. Get your palette psyched for clear liquors.
She relaxed at the afterparty in green Calvin Klein. This dress gives me Miss Havisham/Poison Ivy bedroom vibes.  But green is my color of the season, I'm obsessed. Emerald specifically.
Ashley Greene sticks to her conservative, borderline baby grandma dresses. The palette of this DKNY dress is utterly perfect for her complexion though.
For another press event, she wore a muted Kaufman Franco, grounded with some perfect-for-fall burgundy heels.  She is straight up glowing. High fives hair and makeup!

Celeb Potpourri: Alessandra, Emma, Vanessa, Hilary

Life is crazy over here so in lieu of going another day without blogging, I'm going to throw together a quick post for you! Alessandra Ambrosio reminds me that it is still very summery in LA even though I'm wrapped in an afghan at my desk shivering like crazy.
The turban is back, noooo! Kourtney Kardashian reclaims her favorite hair accessory from last fall while filming in Miami.
Seth MacFarlane, 38, and Emilia Clarke, 24, have gone public with their relationship. The Game of Thrones star has been dating the Family Guy creator for months, but they sat together at the Emmys as their public coming out as a couple.
I love this pic of Amber Heard. She's pulling a Lauren Conrad, but somehow does it better!
Hilary Duff heads to a movie with a friend in LA. That's kind of a fancy get-up for the movies where, again, I like to wear some kind of blanket-style clothing.
Emma Watson is hipster adorbs in London. I think Jimmy Fallon would have crushed on her hard if he were single/closer in age. Maybe just the first.
Vanessa Hudgens keeps her face hidden after leaving a dentist appointment.

Kaley Cuoco doing promo work in New York. Again, why why why does she hate makeup?
Maggie Grace has a little too much going on in this outfit. Am I supposed to be looking at her printed blouse, her long legs, or her bold shoes? Need a focal point girl.
Olivia Wilde is officially getting inducted into the Keep Kiki Kute Kampaign. Too pretty to be allowed to dress herself.

Emmy 2012 Fashion: Black and White

Giuliana Rancic wore a sleek black Romona Keveza gown and bouncy pony.
Shot of the slit in her dress. I love this dress on her. She looks flawless.
Amy Poehler is in the same competition as Connie Britton in a plunging, sequined Stella McCartney.
January Jones skipped her standard Versace, but still did not stray from her beloved structured dresses. She sported a black Zac Posen and some smoky eyes.

Emmy 2012 Fashion: Color Pop

If ever there was a person born to wear orange, it is officially Padma Lakshmi. Dang girl you are working that Monique Lhuillier like none other!
Ginnifer Goodwin, also in Monique Lhuillier, chose a 3D accented, belted dress. This is her least awkward red carpet face ever. Yay!

Kat Dennings in a seriously low sweetheart neckline (man, there were a lot of those!) by J.Mendel.

Cat Deeley chose a melon-colored Tadashi Shoji.

Emmy 2012 Fashion: Carribean Sea

A much more interesting color trend were hues plucked straight out of tropical waters. Sky blues, seafoam greens, and deep ocean blues were all standouts on the red carpet. Two of the most talked about dresses, no doubt, were the body conscious, sequin-adorned dresses of Julianne Hough (in Georges Hobeika) and Sofia Vergara (in Zuhair Murad). Julianne's has an old Hollywood sweetheart bodice and ballroom-worthy skirt details.
Sofia's dress has a more minor train and a peek-a-boo halter top. She had a minor malfunction when her dress split across her bottom - she tweeted pics of her thong showing through a hole in her dress before her team sewed it back up!
Heidi Klum returns to her supermodel glory in this gorgeous, ethereal Alexander Vauthier gown. She is a total VS Angel again in this and pulled off the mommy-cleavage trend last night the best.

Emmy Fashion 2012: Seven Shades of Grey

Grey and silver were all over the red carpet at the Emmys with some pretty disappointing results. Anna Chlumsky had the best grey dress in Christian Siriano, with delicate lace detailing. But those shoes...gag.
On the opposite end, Christian Siriano also dressed Christina Hendricks, who wore a light sliver sweetheart gown with a thick, trenchcoat style belt. The fabric, the cut, the belt...this does not work at all.
Disapproving look from yourself is as harsh as it gets.

Emmy Fashion 2012: Yellow Explosion

The most dominated colors on the red carpet at last night's Emmy Awards: bright yellow, silver, and shades of blue. Julianne Moore slays in Christian Dior. As the only non-blonde who took a chance on yellow, I think she worked it the best.
Julie Bowen went neon in Monique Lhuillier. Love the cut of this dress. She is finally stepping up her fashion game.
Finally a good dress for Kaley Cuoco, wearing Angel Sanchez. While this color is certainly not the best on almost anybody, the cut of the dress works well with her figure. She still needs to find a makeup artist who likes her though.
I mean, Claire Danes just continually kills it. This bright Lanvin truly masks her growing baby bump. Again, this color is not a blonde's friend, but she looks fab anyway.
Leslie Mann employed the smart decision of keeping the yellow away from her face in this voluminous Naeem Khan dress, accented with turquoise.
