PYTs: Blake, Miley, Brit Brit, Selena, Taylor

I think Miley Cyrus is a great example of somebody who is cute but with the help of a Hollywood glam squad becomes gorgeous. She looked phenomenal at the Australians in Film Awards last night where her fiance (so weird!) Liam Hemsworth accepted an award.  Her Zimmermann dress is kind of hookerific, but she's been working out so hard, why not go for it?

Blake Lively wore a yellow plunging Gucci dress to the New York premiere of Savages. Don't love this as much as her previous looks this week, but she could still stop traffic.
She also wore a custom Lanvin cocktail dress at ABC with nude studded Loubs.
Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift grabbed lunch together in Malibu yesterday. I swear for somebody who "lives" in Nashville, Taylor is in LA every day off she has.  Perhaps she has a new actor beau?
Why doesn't anybody want to talk about extra long extensions with me? I am crazy for them and trying to refrain from dropping my mortgage on horse hair.
Brit Brit loves her a bandeau. I am also 99% certain this is the same dress my high school friend was put in as a bridesmaid recently. Confirmation from those who know?

Red Carpet Round Up: Lively, Banks, Barton, Beckham

Elizabeth Banks continues her monster touring schedule in a printed Jill Stuart dress.
Love her in this look. That Dannijo metal Peter Pan collar is so fierce.
Homegirl is not scared to stand out! She is all for color and prints right now.
Speaking of standing out...jaw on floor. Blake Lively in a Michael Kors red tuxedo. Which I say as Franc would say "Black tux-a-dough. No, babe, this tux is na-vey blue!"
Lookie here! Blake magically makes Jenny Packham work for me. Well done.
Post show, she wore an eerily similar, equally pretty Marchesa dress. She was born for Marchesa.
Mischa Barton, my little wallflower, dressed up for an event in London wearing Luisa Beccaria.
The Spice Girls teamed up for a promotion. There's a time for the lean back and there's a time where it makes you look like you don't want to touch your fellow bandmates.  Also, every single one of them looks like they could be in Madame Tussaud's in this pic.

Katy Perry Premieres Part of Me

I'm no major Katy Perry fan nor hater - I like some of her songs, some I really don't, she seems like an ok person - but I'm really, inexplicably excited to see Part of Me, her Bieber-esque film documentary.  I'm into people who make their concert larger than life and a fun time, which it looks like she does. She is one gorgeous weirdo.  I need to talk more about this further on the page when I can't look at this velvet dress; it triggers my bizarre haptodysphoria in a major way. Feeling twitchy...
Whew, that's better. This leads to another thing I'm currently obsessed with: extra long extensions, a la Selena Gomez' new look. Hollywood and LA ladies have been booking appointments like whoa to get the longest locks possible. I was watching Julissa and Adrienne (duh, it's reality, I'm watching) and was completely mesmerized by Adrienne's horse-tail thick long hair. Half of me thinks it is weird to have a weave done in a manner that is so obviously fake and half of me doesn't care because I love it. Hmm...things rolling through my mind.
Oy, I thought I got word out to Victoria Justice that she needed to take her look up a notch. She is too pretty to dress this boring!
Extended trailer for your entertainment.

Red Carpet Roundup: Stone, Bush, Byrne, Witherspoon

The new Mrs. McConaughey in a blue sequined Pucci at the premiere of Magic Mike aka Bring a Fan, It's Gonna Get Steamy, where most of the girls opted to be be the flashy ones in place of their significant others.  Olivia Munn went dressy in Dolce and Gabbana. Seems a little formal for this particular flick.
Jenna Dewan went with a black sequined Gucci.
Better shot here...thoughts? Btw is it not weird that she is older than Camila Alves?
Something are pretty in person and not on camera. Sophia Bush's ALC skirt is one of those things.  Shailene Woodley...you are my new Shanae Grimes. Wet hair on the red carpet, really?

Can't put my finger on why I dislike this dress so much, but I figure if Elizabeth Banks can't make it work for me, it's gotta be the dress. Weird, because I almost always love Elie Saab. She's with Chris Pine at the premiere of People Like Us aka Crying In Movie Theaters.
Love this look on Rose Byrne. The soft wave is much better on her than the severe bob.
Famke Janssen might want to start thinking about a hair cut.
Reese Witherspoon looks impossibly young accepting an award.
Emma Stone keeps killing it on her never-ending Spiderman tour. She wore the most amazing Bottega Veneta  dress with a sleek updo.  One of her best looks ever IMHO.
I am in love with this white Jason Wu dress, so sleek and chic.
Another promo moment in New York wearing Carven.

Savages Premiere: Blake, Kelly, Mary Louise, Salma

I was beginning to think Blake Lively forgot all about being a fashionista red carpet darling!  Last night she turned it out for the premiere of Savages, which looks so good it might be one of the 3 movies I see a year.  She is a total Hollywood bombshell in Zuhair Murad and it's great to have her back.

Let's be real, it's pretty hard to top what Blake brought to the carpet. Salma Hayek wore a green sequined Gucci for best runner up.
Mary Louise Parker is always hot, but these shoes are a big miss with this dress. I would like to wear this dress as a bridesmaid though if anybody is ready to line me up next to the bride again next year.
Kelly Preston is not aging at all, it is freaky. She wore a body con sequined David Meister. Her hubby is not looking so good. I think they sharpie drew on his hair.
