On the Go: Tiz, Charlize, Jordana, Lake, Duff

Charlize Theron is slaying me with her chic-ness lately! Check her out in Paris in her dusty pink blazer. Yep, now I must have one too. You know how I love rainbows of blazers in my closet!  

 Jordana Brewster picked a perfect Spring dress by Carolina Herrera, who has dressed a lot of celebs this week. She attended the TCM Classic Film Fest alongside Rose McGowan, who chose a colorful Preen dress with pink accents. Love. 

 Ugh, I seriously can't stand Leelee Sobieski, but she has a hot new show in which she plays a rookie cop, NYC 22.  It's a shirt and skirt from Maki Oh, a new Nigerian designer premiering at Fall Fashion Week. Let's switch gears to somebody I love. I'm pretty sure Ashley Tisdale can have whatever she wants in Planet Blue. I think she has that arrangement all the Kitson girls had like 8 years ago when they just needed to parade out of the store with their bags on the regular.

 Lake Bell wore a mint Marchesa gown to an ASPCA ball. She has been an outspoken defender of Pit Bulls (hers is named Margaret) and a friend of the doggies. Last month, Lake got engaged to a tattoo artist who played himself on her show How to Make it in America. She previously dated Colin Firth, but no other serious dating history.

Random post closer, but here is Hilary Duff with her family. These two look like high schoolers themselves! She is gorgeous and I"m looking forward to seeing what she does next. I have a feeling it will be lots more social media a la Alba.

Conde Nast Traveler Fete: Alba, Roberts, KCav

Jessica Alba let her shoes and lips take the attention the Conde Nast Traveler party. Her LBD is Giambattista Valli and her en fuego heels are Roger Vivier T-Bar Prismick Sandals. Jessica will be spending her upcoming 31st birthday at the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington D.C. and recently penned an article on adjusting to life with two kids. She is one of the smartest celebrities in terms of integrating business and social media ventures into her world. Her husband Cash is involved in the digital world and comes to our events. He's totally nice and personable, but I wish he'd bring his wife along!

 

And look who she brought along! After meeting up for dinner earlier this week at Madeo, Emma, 21, and Chord Overstreet, 23 seem ready to share that they are back together again. Maybe they'll have giant mouthed babies together! 

 Kristin Cavallari looks as good as I now expect of the mom-to-be.

Celeb Potpourri: Cyrus, SJP, Bilson, Model Mania

Miley Cyrus keeps up with her fitness with another Pilates class in Los Angeles. Her and Hilary Duff are super committed right now!

I'm so confused by Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen. It was at the launch party I organized that she announced to the media the end of their engagement, which months later was back on. They are so rarely seen together, but they also don't seem to be making any more moves towards getting married. What do you think of them together? Rihanna extra bold by wearing a trench for a dress.I mean, you know she's got to be trying to impress some guy in this. Wonder who she is after? 

 Sarah Jessica Parker runs errands with her twin daughters. They really look like their brother!  Ali Fedotowsky is promoting her new show, which airs after SNL on Saturdays. It's basically her traveling to different US cities and having fun. Um, no thanks, that sounds like it should be my life not me watching you. 

 At the 9th Annual Spring Dinner in New York, the pretty, pretty people came out. Doutzen kills it in Rachel Roy and a long, sleek ponytail.

 My girl Erin Heatherton wore a yellow Carolina Herrera . I like Katie Lee's navy printed wrap dress a lot. Almost looks like she is wearing a silk robe. Also, could her hair be any shinier?  (I hope you read that in Chandler Bing's voice.)

 Selita Ebanks, models should know better than this lipstick shade. Mess. 

Avengers Premiere: ScarJo, Audrina, Cobie, Shay

The Avengers premiered last night in LA which means ScarJo is resurfacing in the media. She wore a simple Verscae LBD and some uber strappy Giuseppe Zanotti heels last night and a lot of other starlets were there ready to try and show her up. Shay Mitchell, celebrating her 25th birthday, did it best in a plunging Giorgio ARmani dress. Outstanding!

Audrina Patridge takes color pop to a whole new level with a red long sleeved dress, hot pink heels, and a light pink over sized clutch. Cobie Smulders seems to finally be putting in time on the red carpet. It's a good thing, too, with it being widely rumored that the show will wrap at the end of the current contract in May 2013. The creators are positive how the show will end, but just haven't finalized whether that will be next year or the one after. Are you a HIMYM fan?

  Ladies, take note of how not to dress on the red carpet. Francia Raisa of The Secret Life of the American Teenager looked like she was plucked from on-lookers to walk the red carpet. How are you going to get a pass to a huge premiere only to turn up in street clothes? I really don't get it.  For somebody who topped her in the most inappropriate red carpet wear competition, see former Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thorton's see-through dress. No bueno!

PYTs: Tiz, Mandy, KCav, Selena, Miley

 Miley Cyrus sports a neon jacket while shopping with her mother in Calabasas. There has been a lot of questions about her recent weight loss and Miley let us in on why: she's gone gluten and dairy free.  She says she has an intolerance for both and while she misses a lot of her former junk food, she is feeling great. She is also enjoying some downtime and getting in plenty of sleep (she's said 12 hours some nights) plus pilates and dog walking sessions on the regular. 

I gave up dairy and gluten for Lent even though I don't have an intolerance for it at all and I noticed a big difference in my skin, hair, and energy levels. It was a real challenge for me to maintain while out or at a dinner party, but I love experimenting with what foods make me feel the best and making tweaks to what I prepare for myself. 

Hilary Duff is killing it in the gym! She has been at Piloxing every day and also added Soul Cycle in this week. My co-worker in New York absolutely raved (like cult like raved) about the amazingness of Soul Cycle. They recently opened a studio here in LA on Sunset and I think I need to see what this cycling studio is all about.  Expectant mom Kristin Cavallari looks happy to be home in LA, though she plans to move to Chicago and Nashville once her baby is born.

Celeb Potpourri: Blunt, Bosworth, Theron, Judd, Ritter

Jessica Alba grabs some coffee to go in an outfit more hipster than usual. Speaking of hipster, Kate Bosworth rocks some puffy Isabel Marant sneakers while running errands in LA. I'm willing to be she is gearing up for Coachella this weekend.  Are any of you heading to Palm Springs this weekend?

 Emily Blunt looks outstanding in Carolina Herrera at the premiere of her film Salmon Fishing in Yemen. Her darker hair doesn't always flatter her as much as I wish it did, but here she has the perfect long bob and medium brown color. I love it! (Good thing I just got my hair cut or I'd be tempted to chop!)

 Did you catch the premiere of Don't Trust the B in Apt 23? I sure didn't, but am curious to hear opinions. Krysten Ritter wore a Jenny Packham dress to a screening that is not hideous. I actually kind of like it, which you know took a lot for me to admit. I deserve a treat now...ok back to talk about the scariest red carpet poser since Ginnifer Deer in Headlights Goodwin. That would be My Girl's Anna Chlumsky in Versace and with the extreme hair part. Whoever tailored this for her should consider a career change. Bustline weirdly high, waist big, thighs tight, odd length...major fail. Come on Vada, you can do better.

 Ashley Judd promotes her new show in a Carolina Herrera dress. She's been boldly speaking out against people criticizing her "puffy" face. She says she has not had any work done, but has been on steroids to battle a sinus infection.  While I admittedly poke fun of a lot of celebrities on here, I generally keep it to their clothing choices. And this dress isn't my favorite for a night time screening.  Something more along the lines of Charlize Theron in a subtly sexy Stella McCartney dress and Loub booties at the Prometheus premiere in Paris.  What do you think about her new long hair? 

 I love Emma Stone and think it's great that she has found love, but these two are starting to bore me. Let's see some cafe cuddling or hot date night outfits! 

 Freida Pinto partied with Nylon in Prada, while Vanessa Minnillo sported a mini-mullet Halston Heritage dress (sans belt for the baby...$495) with a Kate Frances Evelyn blazer and detailed Gucci heels.

Bump Watch: Kourtney, Drew, Reese, Vanessa

Kourtney Kardashian looked great in a red pleated Pinkyotto dress while in New York. Any guesses as to what she'll name her baby girl? Vanessa Minnillo is back on the set of Wipeout for summer. She's got a mini bump now.

 Reese Witherspoon went to lunch with girlfriends in Beverly Hills yesterday. With no more movies releasing this year, she has some time to chill and enjoy her family. Drew Barrymore is still cleverly avoiding the obvious bump outfits, but I think there is a baby happening in there. She was out shopping for new office space in West Hollywood. 

Candice Crawford, 25, and Tony Romo, 31, welcomed their first child, son Hawkins Crawford Romo on Monday.  His ex-girlfriend, Jessica Simpson, is due April 20th.
