 Kim Kardashian returns home to LA after a quick trip to visit Khloe.  Lauren Conrad heads into Kate Somerville for a facial. When is the day when I'm sitting in the waiting room with her?!? It simply is bound to happen right?

DON's Deal: Resolutions & Pipe Dreams

I'm a resolutions person. I really enjoy thinking about what I'd like to accomplish in the next year. I spent a lazy hour at the dog park yesterday daydreaming about the outrageously amazing person I will be by 2013. But, yeah typically, I accomplish next to none of my resolutions for the year. I get one big pat on the back for making it a year without Taco Bell; perhaps that lamest resolution I made for 2011 as I drove home from SF and plotted them out.

If all goes well this month, I'm planning a 6 month series in which I focus on my resolutions, explore how to accomplish them, and track my tips, progress, and inevitable failures along the way.

Russell Brand, 36, did the inevitable and filed for divorce from wife of one year, Katy Perry, 27. They dated for 4 months before getting engaged in 2009. The buzz on the break-up began when both stopped wearing their wedding rings and spent Christmas apart. No word on when they separated. I'm sure Katy and drinking buddy Rhi Rhi will have a lot of party days ahead.
