At Elle's 19th Annual Women in Hollywood party, we got all kinds of looks, from conservative to funky and from retro to modern. Let's start off with two of my favorite PYTs, the Emmas. Emma Stone is adorable per usual in Valentino. Love love love the bright pink and cuffs with the Ferragamo houndstooth heels. Best dress of the night for me.
Emma Watson is perfection in Calvin Klein. Love this dress. Shoes this season give me a major case of the sadz.
An excellent choice by Jaime King in winter white Calvin Klein. I will never get used to white shoes, but especially not white sandals. However this dress is so fantastic on her and actually gives her some curves that it's a win for me.
Cate Blanchett never ever bores and she is beautiful in Proenza Schouler.
More after the jump!
Not in love with Krysten Ritter's Romona Keveza two piece dress with green Jean-Michel Cazabat pumps. She looks fab in this color though.
For no great reason, I can't stand Lake Bell on screen. I have heard from friends who have hung out with her that she is awesome, but I just can't watch her act. She sported a printed Etro gown with mesh and black sleeves. Do you like? I think I would have dug this as a strapless.
Lea Michele, holy makeup! Always making an effort to stand out, Lea wore a sheer Zimmerman dress with a body suit. Think this is an improvement for her?
Nina Dobrev is almost always one of my best dressed, yet a cocktail dress with a longer sheer overlay is one of the quickest ways to turn me off an outfit. Her dress is Vera Wang and her heels are Jimmy Choo. This dress would have been much better if the black lace stopped at her waist.
Anna Kendrick works a cool Badgley Mischka cocktail dress with some overly clunky heels and crazy hair. But this dress is such a great departure for her!
Rashida Jones wore a shift dress lacking real shape with a Dannijo statement necklace. Again, great color on her, not a great ensemble.
Ellie Kemper wore a feminine off-white suite with a Jimmy Choo clutch. Boxy clutches are everywhere!
Somebody who should have tried a boxy clutch is Elle Fanning. Do not like this Calvin Klein dress - it doesn't even look like something they would make! Again with the longer mesh, yuck! Her cross-stitch purse is Dolce and Gabbana.
SJP in Calvin Klein. Better than what she's worn recently, but this variation on longer mesh overlay is also a drag. The top is so structured and pretty, but that line across her hips is a bummer.

I can. not. take. Lea. Michele.
It has to be exhausting to constantly need to stand out like that (hello, Kim Kardashian).. I was a Glee fan up until a few weeks ago when Lea Michele's character turned slutty. Now it's not Rachel Berry, it's just Lea Michele acting as herself, no?
Emma Stone is best dressed of this bunch, by far!
For some reason, I was unimpressed with all of the above looks. Maybe next time ladies.
Oooh I LOVE Krysten Ritter. She is too cute!
I love SJP too, but not diggin' that outfit...
Emma W's shoes remind me of the Spice Girls, very Posh, circa the 90's. I know this because i probably rocked a similar pair, to the clubs... in the 90's but now... no thank you. I don't care if the 90's are coming back. I'll rock the flannel and the boots but not those shoes! ;)
I love Rashida's hair.
Have you watched Lake Bell on Children's Hospital? It's hilarious and she's pretty funny but not the star of the show IMO. She's got a lot of competition not hat show for funniest person, she isn't it but she's still pretty funny.
i totally agree w the previous commenter about lea just acting as lea on glee now.
i'm w you on lake bell. i think the only movie i remotely liked her in was what happens in vegas w cameron diaz.
I remember Rashida Jones saying that she grew up bff's with Nicole Richie - which begs me to question - Why doesn't she dress better?
