Out and About: Garner, Holmes, Perry, Knightley

Carey Mulligan strolls through NY with her husband. Yes, I thought this was Kiki. No, I did not think that was Garrett Hedlund.

Jessica Biel wore a pretty Giambattista Valli dress for an appearance on The Daily Show. This is one of the best looks of her press tour, IMO. Model Candice Swanepoel shows Miranda Kerr isn't the only off-duty model who can do casual chic. That said, she could probably make something from Kiki's closet look chic.  Terribly too short, but chic.

 Jennifer Garner heads to a business meeting in Los Angeles. She has been so DL since the birth of her son. Katie Holmes grabs java on the go in NY. Love her bright yellow sweater!  Her jeans are like three sizes too big.

Speaking of which, did you see Miley's tweet about wearing Liam Hemsworth's pants around their temporary home in Philadelphia? She is loving her Pilates-made and gluten-free body. The pup is like "What are we looking at here?"

 Keira Knightley and her fiance stroll in New York during some time off from filming. Ashley Tisdale heads to Equinox for a sweat session. 

 Lindsay Lohan...no comment. Natalie Portman grabs lunch out in Los Angeles.  Seems like she has been raising her baby mostly out West. I figured this NY girl would be living back there full time.

  Um, remember palazzo pants? Between the crop top, palazzo pants, bun and chola lip color, I'm having a flashback to a brief tragic era of my young style years. A much more contemporary look on Vanessa Hudgens and...is that...Shanae Grimes? Both of them together in totally normal outfits?! 

Way to go ladies! There's a first for everything.

On her final day in Brazil, Katy Perry took a trip up Corcovado Mountain with her entourage. I have a pretty heavy fear of large cable cars/gondolas after a childhood skiing trip when my Dad recounted the story of the 1978 Squaw accident...while riding in the Squaw gondola. 

Anyway, while in Brazil I decided I could deal with it because I really wanted to see the Christ the Redeemer statue up close. You take two gondolas up to Corcovado Mountain and, surprise, I had a panic attack on the first ride. I spent the rest of the morning sitting alone at the halfway point hoping I could make it back down without being committed. Great story, right? I will say for my mental health the statue was just as impressive on the safety of the ground.

 Upon returning to Los Angeles, Katy went out with resident musical dbag John Mayer for a night at Chateau Marmont. It's hard to downgrade from Russell Brand, but this might be it.

TGIFybro. And because I've watched this about 30 times, I feel the need to share. So amazing vintage gymnastics.
