What the MTV Movie Awards lacked in style, the CFDA Awards made up for with plenty. My favorite looks of the night first. Zoe Saldana never disappoints and looked stunning in Prabal Gurung.
Devon Aoki was a total knock-out in Alice and Olivia. The peplum trend meets gown in a gorgeous rose print. One of the best dresses I've seen all year!
Hilary Rhoda looked lovely in Rebecca Minkoff, a very cool dress.
Sophia Bush blew me away in this orange David Meister.
Finally, Julianne Hough impressed me in Kaufman Franco. Simple, sleek, and chic.
Mandy Moore in Lela Rose. Statuesque and stunning!
I also loved Doutzen Kroes in Sophie Theallet. Such an cool textured material.Lily Collins continues to wear a bit too mature looks. I love this Marchesa dress, but the styling is a little stuffy for one so young. Kate Bosworth, like Zoe Saldana, seems to be born to wear the fashions most actresses have to leave to the supermodels. She works a complicated Altuzarra dress.
Busy Phillips missed an opportunity to go grand on such a big fashion night, but still looks nice in Martin Margiela. Erin Heatherton wore a beachy Michael Kors.
Jessica Chastain wore a throw back look from Prabal Gurung. I would love this dress on somebody else, I just don't think it works for her. Dakota Fanning typically chooses looks similar to what Jessica wore - girlish, young, feminine - so I'm into this mixed up moment from Proenza Schouler, but only in this specific occasion.
Candice Swanepoel in a lovely Valentino, though the white heels...ugh. Selita Ebanks in a surprisingly elegant Herve Leger.
Mary Kate as a brunette and Ashley Olsen both wore The Row, natch. I seriously can't believe Ashley is showing her teeth in a photo. She looks so pretty when she smiles! But her dress looks like she ran out of time on Project Runway.
