Red Carpet Potpourri: Stam, NicRic, Underwood, Sparks

Nicole Richie wore a Emilio Pucci mullet dress to the Fifi Awards. Long sleeve dresses are quite the trend right now! When I first saw this I thought, "She's preggo again!" but then I remembered she had a boob job.
Michelle Monaghan wore a slinky cut out navy Halston maxi dress. Do you like?
Mariska Hargitay took a night off from all her babies to attend the Fifi Awards. She is on board for another season of Law and Order: SVU, something I thought may not happen with the loss of Stabler and after adopting 2 babies within the past year. Glad she is able to make it work for us fans!
Jessica Stam in Marchesa. I can't say I understand her hair color choice right now, but she looks amazing in anything she wears.
Carrie Underwood's performance dress at the Billboard Awards was a draped Maria Lucia Hohan goddess gown.
Another knockout look from Jordin Sparks who wore a leather and silk Mason maxi dress in Las Vegas.
Jenna Dewan wore Armani to the Peabody awards with hubby Channing Tatum. The length of this dress unequivocally lands it in the "bridesmaid" category for me.
Petra Nemcova wore Valentino to a party in Cannes. She is once again dating her ex-boyfriend Sean Penn. Not at all clear on her taste for men like Penn and James Blunt.
Parks and Rec treated themselves to a Peabody Award. So glad this show is coming back, too, and I love that Amy Poehler is experimenting with her fashion choices a little. Do I love this look? No, but I like that she's playing.

YAY! Parks n' Rec! LOVE that show SO much.

Nicole Richie looks adorable and I hate mullet dresses but this one is glam city! I had no idea she had her boobs done. Lesson 101 on doing your boobs right... make it so people wonder about them but not so they are Heidi Mo obvious!

I'm not loving Carrie's extensions :(

I'm a fan of Mariska's dress. I'm a lot younger than her, but it's exactly the kind of thing I'd pick out for myself. Is that good or bad?

I actually really like Michelle's dress - navy is absolutely my favorite color and I think she makes the cut-out trend look classy rather than trashy like I sometimes think it can be.
