Carrie Underwood went for big drama in an Oscar de la Renta dress. We usually see her reserve looks like this for the stage while showcasing her stems on the red carpet. I think she chose this to tie into her song of the night, Blown Away.
Miley Cyrus has been working out like a champ and focused on her gluten-free diet - it certainly shows. She went pants free in a Jean Paul Gaultier blazer. The big hair and jewelry work well, but the makeup is really, really heavy. My eyebrow chick, who also does Lauren Conrad and Jessica Lowndes, dyed my eyebrows darker like everybody in Hollywood seems to be doing lately. I don't love it, but I also didn't love ombre at first so who knows. Anyway, Miley is an example of how dark brows are en vogue.
I love when Taylor Swift wears her hair straight with bangs and this sexy illusion Elie Saab dress is exactly what I've been waiting for her to step out in. Mature, provocative without being shocking, and a great color, this dress is a 10.
Jordin Sparks looks fantastic in a stunning nude DVF Zarita dress. This also comes in a smoky grey that would be killer for formal events this spring. I think I will be trying it on for an upcoming wedding! However, those shoes were such a poor choice. They don't even remotely work!
Julianne Hough. Whatever, she always looks pretty, but rarely blows me away. This Kaufman Franco dress looks like a sparkly towel and the gold shoes are too much.
Katy Perry did a great job finding a dress that has the costume-like feel she loves while remaining elegant. Her dress is by one of her favorite designers, Blumarine.

All too often Alicia Keys picks unflattering and odd red carpet choices. She chose well with her sleek Alaia long sleeved gown. I probably would have worn this in a bit cooler weather rather than mid-May in Vegas, but she looks lovely.
Zooey, what can I say? I love her, but her style feels so repetitive. Her dress is by Moschino and would have been so much improved if she ditched her requisite heavy opaque tights.
I love Chrissy Tiegan and John Legend together. She was Barbielicious in a satin Georges Chakra cocktail dress.
Modern Family hosts Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell went with very different looks. Julie has been trying a lot of different looks lately, from over the top statement dresses to sexy little numbers. Is her Doo.Ri dress an upgrade or downgrade?

Miley is giving off that "trying too hard" vibe in my opinion. My brother was at the awards working, so I'm waiting for his rundown about who he saw (and maybe some gossip, if he doesn't get all "professional" on me - lol)!
Miley looks like she's trying to channel Sharon Stone with that blazer look. She seems too "old" in that to me for some reason BUT her legs look amazing.
Taylor looks lovely!
I don't love Carrie's dress but I get where she's going with it. Her husband has such a striking appearance he makes me think of Prince Charming or some fairytale prince the away he's so dreamy.
I'm over Katy Perry's colored hair... really over it. And Momma always said if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all so I won't bust on Zooey because it won't be pretty... she should have asked Siri what to wear...
