I finally saw The Hunger Games last night. I was pleasantly surprised at what a sensory experience they created; it really felt like you were in the games, to the point where the shaky cameras and the ringing in my ears post bomb made me feel a little sick. I really expected it to be more tweeny and less of a thriller. I really loved the supporting cast: Lenny Kravitz as Cinna, Stanley Tucci as Caesar, Wes Bentley as Seneca Crane, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch and Amndla Stenberg as Rue were especially awesome!
My friend DAK and I have a steady debate of why I'm Team Gale to her Team Peeta. A lot of this crosses over to the actors who play them. I find zip zero nada sexy about Josh Hutcherson. You can partly blame Vanessa's past influence, but to that point, Liam is dating Miley who is rarely any better. May I also point out that Josh is 5'7 (same as Jennifer Lawrence) to Liam's 6'3?
I legit couldn't find a bad picture of this kid.
I haven't finished the third book so don't say anything about it in the comments please!! If you haven't read these books, what the heck are you waiting for? Not reading them provides for awkward social scenarios, like losing a Draw Something 48 game winning spree by not understanding my STELLAR drawing of Peeta with a loaf of bread in District 12...LINDSAY.

I just saw the movie last night too! It was amazing...definitely different than the book at times, but I really liked it.
I'm more Team Peeta from reading the books, but that's who I'd choose if I was Katniss. If it's just me, I'm team Gale based on actors. Peeta is just TOO SHORT!! And I agree, it's weird that Gale dates Miley...just strange.

I'm so Team Gale. I saw a preview for Punk'd yesterday in which Miley punks Liam. The preview shows him coming to her rescue against some weird people who are naked in her care (?), yelling at them in his cute Aussie accent. He was so protective and cute. Made me like him even more! Lucky Miley...
I wish Peeta was better looking so that it was a harder decision to choose between him and Gale. That would only make the movies better!
i would take either peeta or gale, but in reading the books i started as team gale, but quickly moved on to team peeta. but i agree w you, that liam is one sexy beast.
