The Vow Premiere

 Yeah, she's back! Rachel McAdams pulled off sexy and romantic in Vivienne Westwood for the premiere of The Vow. Her bangs aren't my fav, but she looks every inch a movie star. A lot of you know I have a pretty extended personal vocab and I feel like I should tell you about ice cream colors right now. That is what I call any very light pastels. This uber light mint for example and since it is so in for spring, you might as well understand the word now. If you know me IRL, chances are I've complimented you for looking very ice cream once or twice. 

 Take note, when opting for mint green, your makeup and hair can really stand out since the color is so neutral. Her red lips totally work for me here.  The other cool thing is that it works really well on paler complexions, making it perfect for early spring before you are rocking a glow. Alexa Vega, on the other hand, shows how not to do it. Multiple ice cream shades on the drab side plus uber light makeup doesn't make for much of a red carpet impression.

Remember last week when I said I was surprised Reese wasn't starting in with the red for the red carpet? Everybody else has stepped in with it. Jenna Dewan wore Tadashi Shoji for her hubby's flick. Jana Kramer, wow. Not only is Kris Jenner going to be calling you up to borrow this dress, but you aren't even in this movie so this is a pretty bold choice. It probably would have worked much better with a bouncy ponytail to offset the drama of this look, right?

The Revenge girls were in the house. Ashley Madekwe, bless her heart, did not get the memo on dress code. Christa B. Allen looks like she walked right off the set and then added some red lipstick. Her character is always so girlie, in flowing florals and layers, I would have loved to see something different.  But the dress is very pretty, just needed some nude heels.

I don't know what is going on with the baby Jenner girls.  I'm pretty sure Kendall stepped out of a photo from my 8th grade graduation dance, tendrils and all, which Kylie is absolutely swimming in a giant dress and clown shoes. Doesn't her head look microscopic here?!
