I've been thinking too much about this so I'm going to put it out there. Despite such a whirlwind courtship, I really was surprised Kim and Kris gave up on their marriage so quickly. Like everybody else, I wondered what was such a huge catalyst to justify what seemed like so little effort after such an over-exaggerated wedding. And since we unprecedented access into some of what happened via her reality show, I have to say I really think Kim just got sick of him. Like flat out, got to know him and had no interest in relationship with him. He wasn't the one.
So Kim went to Dubai in mid-October. During that trip she speaks openly about not enjoying her marriage or wanting to go home to her husband. I'm sure the taped convo regarding this with her mom was not the first time they talked about it; as producers, they would undoubtedly not discuss this on camera until Kim had a pretty good idea she would be ending things.
The saddest part to me is how incredibly unaware Kris seems to be. She pushes him to agree to a baby right away, then tells him she's not ready. She agreed to living half the year in Minnesota with him, then tells him she will never live there. And while she looks strained and uncomfortable nearly the entire season, he seems focused on his basketball career and surviving in suite with a baby, his new in-laws, constant cameras, and a wife who seems like she privately gave up. Never thought Kim's show would lead me to sympathize with the Hump, but he really seems like he was swept up and spit out by the Kardashian Hollywood Machine.

I totally agree with you! I mean Kris is pretty lame but I am sure that was nothing new. He was def used. I mean I could last a year with someone I didn't like especially if I traveled all the time like the Kdashes do. Now if I had to come every night after work I prob wouldn't last a week LOL!
I 100% agree! Totally sick of the whole Kardashian scene. It may be a reality show but I think we have learned especially Kim, is completely out of touch with reality!

I agree. It has been interesting to watch the show and see "the demise" but I totally agree that she has said one thing and then gone back on her word countless times. I do feel bad for Kris now more than when they first broke up.
After watching this season of KKTNY I find myself feeling the same way!
I think the "swept up and spit out" comment is EXACTLY right. He's coming off on the show as kind of an asshole, but who can blame him? I know I'd be an asshole if I had to live with her, and deal with all the drama. I feel bad for him. Her? Not so much.
No one will ever satisfy Kim Kardashian. She's all about herself, and her mother and other handlers feed into it. Ugh, go away already Kardashians.
I've never watched the show-- can't stand them-- but of course their lives are all over the internet and I've wondered too. I think you're insight sounds right and it's so sad. I don't know about feeling bad for "the Hump" (HAHA) but the whole situation makes me feel bad for humanity. I do wonder what will happen to Kim down the road. Will she still be single at 35? Trying to have a baby at 40 just to stay in the spotlight? We'll see!

Kris is a big dumb idiot with the brain of a 14 year old boy. Kim totally used him. He may be annoying, but she had to have known that before marrying him, right? And frankly I'd rather hang around an annoying guy than Kim the bitch.

I totes agree! I was anti-Hump but after watching and over-analyzing (anyone who says they don't is a pants of fire liar) I'm on team Hump!
