Russell Brand, 36, did the inevitable and filed for divorce from wife of one year, Katy Perry, 27. They dated for 4 months before getting engaged in 2009. The buzz on the break-up began when both stopped wearing their wedding rings and spent Christmas apart. No word on when they separated. I'm sure Katy and drinking buddy Rhi Rhi will have a lot of party days ahead.

As much as I did love them together, I'm not surprised at all. I think they were way too different and rushed into things.
I don't know how she stood him for 4 months + marriage I couldn't handle him for 4 minutes!!! :) I think she's better off.
