Dunzo: Zooey and Ben

Zooey Deschanel, 31, is divorcing hubby of 2 years Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard, 35. The two dated for one year before tying the knot. Since then, she's been very busy with her new show, website, band, and films. Unsurprisingly, this announcement comes the day her show, The New Girl, returns to air. Zooey spent Halloween with her friends at Kate Hudson's party and seems to be in good spirits.

Halloween 2008 I left work early and headed to the rescue group to pick up my baby, Cholula. Here's that little monster celebrating her adoption in a witch hat.

And here she is today. Just a bit bigger...ha! She still rocks that hat like a pro though. She's become a great big sister to Tamale, who she alternatively beats up or protects at the dog park. Just like sisters do.

 I just love her expressive eyes and her birthmark on her tongue. Less than a week after adopting her, I was in the hospital and we found out for the first time how severe her separation anxiety was. Homegirl has a raging case of FOMO! It has been a challenging road, but I wouldn't trade her for anything. Even though my parents would love to make a deal that made her theirs full time!

Dunzo: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries

Kim Kardashian, 31, is filing for divorce today from her husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries. Her show producer, Ryan Seacrest, confirmed the divorce and she has hired a powerhouse divorce attorney. Not much time to boo hoo for Kim who, after photographed fighting with Kris last week, hosted a Halloween party for Midori solo in New York over the weekend. She is off to Australia now for promotional work, but you can bet your bottom dollar she'll be selling her exclusive interview to the highest bidder. I can't believe she's still doing a promotional trip and attending events at a time like this. I mean, there's great work ethic and then there's normal human emotion.

You know Reggie Bush is so relieved that wasn't him. You know she'll have her sights set on somebody new by Christmas.
