Glammed Up: LC, Rachel Zoe, VS Models

 It still amazes me that with all her money, Lauren Conrad dresses more off the rack than off the runway.  Last night at an LA fundraiser she wore a plunging BCBG dress with Aldo heels. Rumer Willis doing quirky right. Don't you think Kiki would just assault her for this look?

  It was a fashion parade of the skinny minnies over at Burberry. I'm gaga over Cat Deeley's look. Leather leggings with Burberry's tough combat boots, winter white suit jacket and sexy, loose hair. I love it!  Kate Bosworth arrived in a Burberry dress (pretty, not my fav though). 

Solange Knowles being weird per usual, but I will say homegirl knows her shoes. Those beaded heels are cool (by Burberry). Jayma Mays, I don't know why, but I feel oddly proud of how well she dresses. I kind of figured, like Leighton or Kate Hudson, she'd be one of those actresses who looks so great polished up and dressed in character, but gets all weird on their own time. Good thing she is such a major Burberry fan because they rarely miss.

 Bring on the Angels! Erin Heatherton and, my fav, Lily Aldridge, all in black. 

 The face of the fragrance, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looking mighty sexy and Rachel Zoe, button up per usual. I mean, a trench coat buttoned to your neck in 75 degree weather? Weird.

Babies and Bumps and Weddings Oh My!

It's babies and weddings and new love all popping up this fall! Hilary Duff continues to go route 1 in the baby bump styling department. For those of you don't remember Rachel's rules (pre-pregnancy, from when she styled Paula Patton for the Globes), there are two ways to dress a preggo: 1) big, loose and flowy, or 2) fitted and body con to put that bump on display. She claimed she'd be featuring the bump, but I never saw an outfit where that happened.  Also preggo Jennifer Garner went to breakfast with Seraphina and a homeless man formerly known as Ben Affleck.

 Robyn and Kody Brown, of Sister Wives welcomed their first child together. That would be Kody's 22nd child. OOC. Recently announced baby bumps including James Van Der Beek and wife expecting baby 2 and Bruce Willis, 56, and wife Emma, 35 expecting their first child together (his 4th).

Robyn Williams was remarried over the weekend and Kaley Cuoco, 25, of Big Bang Theory - hold that thought while I tell you I typed out 30 Rock from the Sun first; my mind was just thinking nerds, a show about nerds - announced she is engaged to her boyfriend, an addiction counselor. She's shot stuff here at the office before and from that experience, as well as from just about any photo of her, she has a serious aversion to hair and makeup. Hope she let's them put some on her for her wedding pics.

Not married is Tara Reid who now claims her Greek wedding was not legal.

DON's Deal: This and That

Meet my two current best friends: Purell and water. After hearing about the most germ-contaminated public places (including gas pumps, ATM buttons, escalator rails, and mailboxes), I'm paranoid about getting the fall colds that are traveling around so quickly. As for the water, I couldn't get enough while in Arizona and I feel just as dehydrated now that I'm home. My flavor du jour is cucumber, lime, mint. Here's some more yummy flavors to help you stay hydrated this winter.

When I saw this pop up as the weather for Playa del Carmen, where I'm going next week with, ya know, 175 clients, I was like what IS that?!? I soon learned that was key for hurricane. Awesome. Stocking up on board games and booze while praying people don't start cancelling their very expensive, non-refundable flights. Hopefully Hurricane Rina will pass on through without hurting anybody or damaging the resort.

Oh and last night I made the delish Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Maple Frosting I love so much.  Check out that recipe here. I'm off to Jordan's annual pumpkin decorating party in Manhattan Beach tonight!

Bump Watch: Jessica Simpson

After talks fell through on her $500,000 demand for an exclusive cover story, Jessica Simpson, 31, gave up today and let it all hang out for the first time. There's no way she is less than 3 months preggo, right? Unless she is having multiples?

This news comes after her last boyfriend, Tony Romo, 31, announced his wife, Candice Crawford, 24, is expecting their first child after marrying in May.  Love his fist pump at announcing the news, so cute. Vanessa Minnillo, any news to share??

Meanwhile, expectant mom Hilary Duff and her husband went out to lunch in their San Fernando Valley neighborhood.

Just to bring this full circle, last night I dreamt I was pregnant with Chace Crawford's baby. It was one of the most vivid dreams I've had in a long time and I woke up with stomach pains and freaked the eff out. I never, ever think about Chace nor have I seen any of this season's Gossip Girl, nor did my dream explain how I knew him or what our relationship was other than I was full term and he was in NY...so I'm going to read this as a celeb baby bump premonition.

Hollywood Film Awards: Hathaway, Hough, Howard, Stone, Williams

Last night was the Hollywood Film Awards gala in Los Angeles and lots of your favs turned up. Anne Hathaway chose a very unlike her Erdem dress. But her makeup is what really stands out, she has such a gorgeous complexion. 

Amber Heard has been trying a lot of different looks recently. I don't think she's found her signature style just yet. Her dual toned dress is by Roksanda Illincic.

 Rosie Huntington-Wheatley wore a beaded Emilio Pucci paired with too severe hair. After a double date the night before with boyfriend Ryan Seacrest, bro Derek Hough, and his new gf Lauren Conrad, Julianne Hough stepped out in a Naeem Khan plunging cocktail dress. I really never thought she'd stick with Seacrest this long...wonder if he's ring shopping. 

Where the Girls At: Carrie, Tiz, Rachels, Keira

Queen of making hipster look good, Ashley Tisdale enjoyed a vacation in Miami. I love her Rory Beca Jacob blouse, such a pretty color. Love her grey and barely there pink color scheme when she met the Duff sisters for pedicures before her vacay.

Carrie Underwood looks like your average girl next door at a charity event with her husband. Do you think they decided on plaid shirts together?

She's definitely growing out the bangs which I think is a smart move.

Rachel Bilson always seems so bummed out. Sounds like a lot of people are watching her new show, but who knows what is ever going on with her on again off again on again relationship with Hayden Christensen. Hilary Duff is just the cutest little preggo isn't she?

Meow! Keira Knightley looked stunning in Roksanda Ilincic at the premiere of A Dangerous Method in London. I wouldn't wear like 95% of her choices, but appreciate that she takes great risks rather than just diving off the deep end (like Leighton often does). Emmy Rossum went goth in black lace for an LA event.

 Kim Kardashian returned home to LA after celebrating her 31st birthday in NY and Las Vegas. She's looking very militant in this ensemble. Jessica Alba and her ever-present scarf doing some shopping in LA.

Rachel Zoe rocked a blouse and high waisted pants from her 2012 collection at the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Awards. I feel like she's been making some subtle changes to her typically black, oversized wardrobe that I really like. Speaking of really like, LOVE this Carolina Herrera dress on Uma Thurman. She looks gorgeous!

 Remember Alexis Bledel? She was at the Rodeo event in Missoni. She's so adorable. Dianna Agron is making her previous awkward cut work for her in an adorable Libertine cocktail dress.
