Jessica Simpson has begun work on her new television show. I do not have high expectations for this, but I'm glad to see her do something in the public eye again.  I know this is a suspicion arising dress, but I don't think she's there yet, just having a hard time with her wedding workout. Dress is by Chloe, don't you love?

 Better! Jennifer Love Hewitt really is such a pretty girl. I'd really like to closet consult with her.

Catching Up: Kristin Cavallari

So following her engagement being called off and the second blow of having photos of her trying on wedding dresses published after the fact, what has Kristin Cavallari been doing to cope? Having fun! She has had the paparazzi on speed dial, eager to show a happy face for the media.  I hope she really is moving on as easily as she appears to be.  Not sure a bikini backyard photo shoot is the direction I'd take, but whatever gets you out of bed, girl!

A Mischa Moment

I feel like when DON goes big time I will have a huge blown of photo of this behind the reception desk to welcome you to my office. I really speaks to what I'm all about. Also, you really can't look at Mischa and her comically perfect dumpster hipster friends without the song below coming into mind.

No iPhone case? This just illustrates that Mischa's career is on fire and she has no concern for shattering and replacing iPhones. She'll make it rain iPhones if she wants.

Also? This video makes NO SENSE. Fergie clearly looked back at her high school diary when she was high as eff and conceptualized this into a storyboard.

TV Party Time: Claire, Kristen, SMG, Rachel

Claire Danes looked cute (if a little dishelved) in a Reed Krakoff Resort dress - definitely a summery change up from her standard Calvin Klein and nude shimmers.  Kristen Bell chose a Versus LBD dress with an illusion corset. Awful neckline, but she looks better than the craziness of Rachel Bilson's Erdem number and Loubs. FLORALS with LEOPARD? Too far for me, Miss Bilson.  

 Emmy Rossum lets her Etro dress do all the color blocking work for her. Definitely not my cup of tea. Oh dear. Jaime King is looking dangerously close to Lindsay Lohan in this photo, despite her gorgeous Valentino cocktail dress. Eat a sandwich, get some low-lights, match your eyebrows baby girl! 

 Don't get me started, don't EVEN get me started. You 90210 girls make me nuts. Good thing Shanae wasn't around to really set me off. (To be fair, Jessica's outfit is fine though khaki pants make me want to gag and offer up Target job applications - she just always looks so damn miserable.)

 I won't say what we are all thinking here, but hey look it's Kat Dennings.

 I have a few rumors to start about Sarah Michelle Gellar now. First is that we haven't seen her with her husband in months and she is looking extremely schmoopy with Ioan Gruffudd. Both are married with a daughter each and I just want to throw out that they clearly have some chemistry going on...

 Swinging back the other way, rumor #2 is that in every single photo I found of SMG at this party, she is holding her clutch over her stomach. Clearly, her Givenchy dress is too tight so I went back and looked at other recent photos of SMG. She's wearing flowy, oversized shirts in all of them.  Perhaps there is another wee three named person joining FPJ & SMG?

 Her bestie Emma Stone was busy in New York doing promotional appearances for The Help. These outfits are so uncharacteristically boring (black is Azarro and a grey shift) and overly mature for such a young, fun-loving celeb. Boo.

 At the Coldplay concert at UCLA, Kate Bosworth stepped out with a new man (she is never single for a minute) and display turquoise dyed hair tips with her Missoni.  Baby grandma LiLo went urban lumberjack. Man, she looks like hell!

 Olivia Wilde ran errands in Los Angeles while Kim Kardashian got her nails done for her trip to New York. Like her Tom Ford shades and that sandy Leila Shams coat. Please note: leather jackets. August. LA is loaning the heat to everybody else, clearly.

  Ashley Tisdale attended the premiere for her children's cartoon in an All Saints Aztec mini. Taking hipster to a whole new level, bestie Vanessa Hudgens is looking twelve shades of crazy in Hollywood.

Ashley Tisdale in her Wildfox sweater and jorts arriving home at LAX from her Miami vacay. Tonight she'll be at the El Capitan theater for the premiere of her Phineas & Ferb movie. Paris and her newly blonde sister Nicky have been spending a lot of time together lately, probably since they are both recently single. They even did a few dinners with Lindsay Lohan, who has maintained a low-profile since the DUI arrest of her on-again-off-again girlfriend Samantha Ronson this week.

 Twin looks! Emmy Rossum wore a white dress and bright turquoise flats in Los Angeles, while Frieda Pinto sported royal blue Brian Atwood heels and a matching chanel as accessories to her simple white frock.

 Mila Kunis, stop it with the perfection or I'm coming after your wardrobe! Cacharel long sleeved dress with  Elie Saab (one of her favs) double strap heels and a Chanel clutch. How about this Oscar de la Renta polka dot dress and Brian Atwood Zenith heels? Elegant, classy, gorgy. 

One more of Mila in London just because her suitcase is just spitting out gold. And on to Taylor Swift who was in New York wearing an I Want It Meow dress. Weird.

Round round get around, I get around! Yeah...did I mention I took the month of July off from traveling (aside from a weekend in Palm Springs which hardly counts since it's so close)? I have been overwhelmingly relaxed and spent lots of time trying to piece together my life that is so fractured by so much time on the road. Seems like a lot of celebrity ladies are doing the same thing, taking summer off from work just to chillax.

Emily Blunt did some shopping solo. Where's the handsome hubby of hers? Newlywed LeAnn Rimeswent to water drink dinner with her husband in Malibu last night. Pretty sure those are pajama shorts.  Anybody else feel like she is defiantly showing off as much as possible lately?

Mila Kunis and Reese Witherspoon embody preppy chic as they run around town.

Ashley Tisdale and Julianne Hough continue their beachy vacation together in Miami. Meanwhile her bestie Vanessa Hudgens went lunching with another blonde friend in the Valley.

Former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Beyonce spent some time together. Kelly has a brand new album out, has anybody listened? I have not, but I can say she looks great!

Soundbites: Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba did a photo shoot with Lucky in the early days of her pregnancy and spoke honestly about her diet and exercise. I have always admired her this - she has always said she comes from a big family and has to work really, really hard to look the way she does.  

"I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200 calorie meals delivered. But I also work out, so basically I’m starving—it sucks. I drink a lot of water.”

“Working out every day for even just 45 minutes is good for my mental state. But getting (dressed) and actually doing it is the worst. It’s hard to get motivated.”

 “In the gym, I have like five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines. Working partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery. Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out.”
