DON's Deal: Weekend Time

A lot of reasons why I could be home up North again this weekend:

May 14th is my sister's birthday so happy birthday, Hizzle!  Cholula will provide you with lots of birthday kisses.

Virtually participating in gift opening this am.

 Lara's memorial is this weekend and I'm sorry I can't be there to remember her with her family and friends.  I'll be remembering all the fun we had.

 The insanity that is Bay to Breakers going down in San Francisco. I'm officially retired from this costumed, drunken madness that sweeps the city, but I think back on it fondly and will crack a beer (and be thankful I have a bathroom nearby).

Arriving on the first flight in Sunday morning is Mama Maria (sadly, without the Lu) to help cook for me for a few days.  Doesn't it just feel good to be taken care of by your mom? On that note, I will spend today cleaning - blergh.

Hitched: Lily and Caleb

Lily Aldridge, 25, has the bubbliest personality for a model who probably never gets to eat what she wants. I think she is just gorgeous and was excited to see the photos from her wedding yesterday to Caleb Followill, 29, of Kings of Leon.  She's wearing Vera.  If you are still considering ombre hair, Lily has the most requested ombre locks in Hollywood so grab her pic before heading to the salon.

Flashback: Rachel and Ryan

I'm glad Rachel McAdams is happy with Michael Sheen and all, but I will never fully get over her split from Ryan Gosling.  Felt like it happened to me.  Weren't they so cute together?

Also, I'd like to note that while making this collage, my co-worker who I happen to know is good friends with Ryan Gosling came over to talk about a trade campaign with me. Awkward!!!!!

What I learned today: I want to die when blogger and twitter simultaneously crash. All I did was download music like a fiend and feel my technology ADD crashing down on me.  But we are back! At least blogger is.

Hair Envy: Jennifer Aniston in Horrible Bosses

I need a hair change pronto. I don't think I look good with anything but very long hair and I've been generally leaning towards blonder the past 8 months with hopes of hair twins with this one, but...

 ...then I see the hysterical trailer for Horrible Bosses and my obsession with bangs meets a darker 'do in a colossal success.  I said I wouldn't do bangs again after too many failed attempts and especially not during hot summer weather, but this is going to keep me up at night.

And I mean how amazing does she look? You go girl!

Bump Watch: Jessica, Selma, Posh, Kate

New dad Rod Stewart, 66, went to lunch with his daughter Kim, 31, who is expecting her first child with ex-boyfriend Benecio Del Toro.  Hollywood, right?!

 Selma Blair runs errands with her boyfriend as she finishes up her first pregancy.

 Jessica Alba, with daughter Honor, celebrated her birthday a little late in Mexico. She postponed her birthday trip after experiencing morning sickness last month.  Homegirl is TAN and her hair be SUPER long! Reminds me of Brooke Shields in Return to the Blue Lagoon, which I was obsessed with once upon a time!

White Hot at Cannes: Uma, Salma, & Rachel at Night

Uma Thurman is perfection in Versace! I am having a white moment and feel the need to get myself some stat!  Such a flattering look for her.

 When I heard Rachel McAdams was wearing one of my favorite designers for opening night of Cannes, I got really excited. She didn't disappoint in a red and nude lace Marchesa. Fierce!

Salma Hayek picked a better Gucci for opening night.  Sparkly!

LA Ladies: Reese, LaLa, Drew, KCav, Zoe

Reese Witherspoon doesn't let a broken leg keep her inside. She's up to her usual social antics around her Brentwood community.

 Jennifer Love Hewitt heads to dinner with her girlfriends while KCav grabs a bite at STK with her fiance Jay Cutler.  White lace top...me wants. 

 Miranda Kerr looks ever the supermodel as she shops at Herve Lerger in West Hollywood, while Drew Barrymore makes a WeHo pit stop for Starbucks with her beau.

 Jennifer Garner deals with a fussy Seraphina at the Brentwood Country Mart. Doesn't she look just like Violet?  Kim Kardashian and LaLa Vasquez attend a Midori event in West Hollywood.  Isn't it weird how some outfits make Kim look tiny and some SUPER curvy? This would the be latter. 

 West Hollywood was where it was at yesterday! Ashley Greene feeds a meter before running some errands.

Cannes Film Fest: McAdams, Hayek, Thurman

Completely, head over heels in love with Rachel McAdams Maxime Simoens white dress with floral detailing on the shoulders and pockets. This dress is so me it hurts that I don't own it. I also love her lighter locks and completely perfect makeup.  Thanks to my twitter poll, I know everybody loves Rachel and it is easy to see why!

 With the cast of her flick Midnight in Paris, Owen Wilson, Lea Seydoux (in a sweet little Prada dress), Rachel's lucky boyfriend Michael Sheen, and Adrien Brody.

 Oof. Salma Hayek promoted Puss in Boots in a red leather Gucci with a shrug and it seems all wrong for a daytime event promoting a kid's flick, no?

 Love that Uma Thurman went with white, too, in Dolce & Gabbana. It just feels right for this Springy event.



Mommy and Me: Halle, January, NicRic, Katherine

Halle Berry and daughter Nahla, with her face painted, play at the park in Malibu after getting some shopping in. If you want to spot a celeb in LA, a really good bet is to grab lunch at the park in Malibu. I don't think I've ever been without spotting a celeb playing with their kiddos.

Katherine Heigl spent mother's day with her family at a Hollywood farmer's market.  Mom-to-be January Jones met up with a friend for lunch. She looks bent on remaining a hipster while expecting.

  Nicole Richie brought Harlow and a friend to Petco in Los Angeles to pick up some supplies.

Gwen Stefani and her family enjoyed some time in the park in London. They are spending their vacation with Gavin's family as Gwen gears up for her next No Doubt album, due out this year.

Alyson Hannigan, on hiatus from How I Met Your Mother, enjoys some Boba with daughter Satyana.  Next up for her will be American Reunion, which will reunite the full American Pie cast, including Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari, and Chris Klein.  Most of those people could really use a hit so I hope this movie doesn't bite the big one.  I also hope Tara Reid's character is completed washed up; that would be hilarious and I find it hard to believe they could ignore her plastic surgery.
