Lovely Ladies: Drew, Hilary, SMG, Gwyneth

At the Beauty Detox Solution book event in Los Angeles, Drew Barrymore arrived with some rocking red locks and a hot little Mulberry clutch. Fergie went for a number I'd expect to see her in on stage.

 Hilary was all about the accessories: Goyard clutch, Hermes belt, and Cartier bracelet. Her pants are Alice and Olivia wide leg.  Jenna Dewan's best accessory was along for the party: husband Channing Tatum.  If you are into health food or are a part-time yippie like me, you might enjoy author Kim Snyder's blog.  She travels with a lot of movie stars, finding ways to make them healthy, diet friendly food on the road.

Jessica Simpson is looking better, no?  She performed at a military concert where she said she was just starting to think about her wedding but knows it will be before the end of the year.  Sarah Michelle Gellar was looking adorable while shopping on her own. She's right up there with Reese in my list of snappy casual moms.

Little grey cocktail dresses were just right on Ashley Tisdale and Hayden Panettiere.

Gwyneth Paltrow promotes her new book at Barnes & Noble.  Anybody give it a look over?

DON's Deal: Kitchen Update

Hey chicks! So I've been away from home for 2 weeks now (le sigh), but having a great time on the road.  My contractor and I finally realized that I wasn't receiving any of the photos he was sending after I asked him 10 times for more photos; he thought I was just cray cray not realizing I'd seen nothing for over a week. So far, he has rehung the doors that didn't close properly since the building has settled, retiled the entry, fireplace, and powder room (this bathroom was previously carpeted so I'm glad to have that out), and the kitchen is in progress.

 The big sink is in, along with a new garbage disposal with an air switch (which is that push button activation at the sink rather than a wall switch).  The cabinets have been painted and laquered, with new interior hinges in place, and the kitchen floor re-tiled as well.  Recessed lighting was installed in the kitchen, which leaves installing the new microwave and, ba ba da da, granite countertops and marble backsplash. Oh, and the hardware for the cabinet doors/drawers.  I'm getting so excited to go home!!

Bump Watch MegaPost: Posh, Tina, Tori, Selma

With so many celebs expecting, I want to hear who has the style you relate to and who has the bump fashion you aspire to! Jessica Alba makes a stop at an LA studio in a denim blouse, leggings, and flat Frye boots. Alicia Silverstone opts for comfort in sweats and converse.

 Boho queen Kate Hudson likes loose shifts and plenty of down time during her second pregnancy. 

 Mel B keeps it spicy in a glittered lighting bolt top and camo leggings (please don't pick her). Selma Blair gets some shopping in after a work out. Her pregnancy style has been pretty simple, but cute IMO. 

 Tori Spelling finally announced her pregnancy, but has said they won't find out the baby's sex until birthday.  I bet we'll see her in lots of maxi and wrap dresses this summer. 

 Tina Fey finds a perfectly tailored LBD for promoting her new book, which I cannot wait to read.

Scream 4 Premieres

Does the world really need another Scream movie? Anna Paquin wore a Cushnie Et Ochs cocktail dress with Brian Atwood heels.  Emma Roberts wore Burberry Prorsum with Elie Saab chunky heels while Hayden Panettiere turned up in a gorgy red Zac Posen with BA heels.

Shenae Grimes pulled herself together, but managed to let her wacky personality shine through with a heart drawn on her cheek.  Lucy Hale sparkled in a little Georges Hobeika dress with Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

 Courteney Cox played nice with her ex-husband on the red carpet, while Kristen Bell brought along her fiance, Dax Shepard.

Kardashian Katch-Up

Those Kardashian girls be busy! Kourtney and Kim Kardashian had a meeting at their DASH store in Calabasas while filming the next season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.  They wrapped up the day with lunch at a nearby deli.  Kourtney wore J Brand jeans,Whitney Eve blazer, and LnA t-shirt. Kim was in McQueen high waisted pants with Loubs and a Balenciaga bag.

Shopping around, Kim wore a Malandrino Jumpsuit, Balenciaga clutch and Givenchy shoes.  Kourtney wore a Hype dress, McGuinn jacket, Tom Ford shades, and some no-fooling around Loubs. I am no fan of jumpsuits, and saw them everywhere in NY, but Kim is making it work, don't you think?

 Khloe is also a fan of jumpsuits, promoting her fragrance in a Gucci jumpsuit, Loubs, and a Balenciaga clutch.  Another day of shopping for Kim in Jet jeans. I don't know how these chick's feet survive the 24/7 platform treatment.

 Khloe and Lamar celebrated the launch of their show by dining at Katsuya, with little sister Kendall and Kylie (with a friend) tagging along in a very grown up outfits. Khloe's jeans are J Brand. Can you tell these girls are into electric blue this season?

The PYTs: Anne, Emmas, Rachel, Duffs

Anne Hathaway promotes her animated flick Rio in head to toe Gucci plus some nerdy glasses. What do you think of her look?  I recently learned that the new T-Mobile girl (who replace CZJ) was specifically picked to closely resemble Anne. I think they got pretty close, but seems kind of wrong to capitalize on a celeb by using a lookalike? Emma Roberts continues with her never ending shopping mission in Beverly Hills.

 Hilary and Haylie Duff spend some sisterly time together grabbing smoothies in Los Angeles. Rachel  Bilson goes grocery shopping at Whole Foods on her own. 

 Emma Stone shopped at some interior design stores in West Hollywood on her own, while a newly light brunette did some promotional work in New York.  My guess is she is slowly making her way back to blonde now that Hellcats has wrapped for the summer.
