TGIF and a New NicRic Hairdo

Happy Friday people! I'm not sure I've ever seen a more glorious day in LA than today - it's 80 degrees, the sun is shining, and I'm so grateful for such amazing weather heading into a very fun weekend for me.  Also feeling summery is Nicole Richie, who went super blonde.  She revealed her new hairdo while shopping in a Winter Kate dress in Beverly Hills yesterday. Do you like?

Back Into the Swing of Things: Blake, JLove, Kim K

The holidays are over and everybody, even the celebs, are getting back to work.  Now is when some of those resolutions we felt so bright and hopeful about are starting to seem daunting, but hang in there!  Blake Lively got back to work on the set of Gossip Girl in a fabulous Burberry trench with a Mulberry bag. I'm ready for the show to be back on already!  As for work, I'm still trying to get super focused. It's hard when we have things like a client happy hour in our office today and have been filming like crazy!

 Jennifer Love Hewitt got her weave blown out at Dry Bar, a chain of salons in LA that only do blow outs.  Seems like every celebrity wears extra hair extensions these days.  Oh, and a huge thank you to all the super sweet comments on Twitter about my haircut yesterday. You certainly know how to boost a girl's confidence!

 Kim Kardashian is back to work at the gym. Motivating to work out is the absolute hardest thing for me. I've been eating super healthy and my latest kick is quinoa. I prepare a couple cups of it on Sunday night and sprinkle it in salads and other meals as a protein-rich grain. It definitely helps me feel full. How are you guys doing with your resolutions or fresh starts?

Baby It's Warm Outside: Celebs in LA

Be still my heart, Miss Brit Brit is back in the dance studio and prepping for her video of Hold it Against Me.  If you are relatively new here, Britney Spears is my all-time favorite celebrity (yes, still). So excited to get her back where she belongs, on my tv and on my iPod!  Kate Bosworth did some shopping in West Hollywood.  Don't get me started on what she is wearing.

 Katharine McPhee ran errands in some seriously tall boots.  I wish I was one of those people who feel like high heels are like wearing slippers, but they are pretty much exclusively reserved for night time.  Look at my little Kiki!  This is her version of business wear and I have to give her a thumbs up (for Kiks). Now, give Mischa a call for a shopping date.

 Sophie Monk went grocery shopping in Beverly Hills and Rose McGowan returned to town after a trip. 

The Madden-Richie family spent an afternoon together. So cute. A friend told me that Harlow was the star of NicRic's wedding, being super cute. I can imagine that.

Hills Girl Catch-Up: LC, Lo, Audrina

Lauren Conrad arrived back in Los Angeles all bundled up from a trip someplace much colder than here.  Lo Bosworth began her book tour in New Jersey last night. Will you pick up her book?

Party in NY: Blake, Jennifer, Michelle

At the 2011 National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Gala in New York City last night, Hollywood A listers turned out to celebrate. Blake Lively looked great in Marchesa paired with Burberry heels (not a fan of t-straps unless you are in dance class) and Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Jennifer Garner slipped into a fuscia Roland Mouret dress.  I think this color is going to be big for Spring which I love/hate. Love because like most people it's a great color on me, hate because it gets dated very quickly!

 Michelle Williams wore a sweet Oscar de la Renta with Loubs and a Ferragamo clutch. Emily Mortimer ("I have hollow bones. Like a bird?") obviously does not watch Rachel Zoe or she would know that no matter how cold you are, you do not wear a coat on the red carpet.

 The dudes turned out, including Ben Affleck, a much healthier looking Christian Bale (if you saw The Fighter, which was great, he was so painfully skinny again), Marky Mark Wahlberg, and Jon Hamm.

Bump Watch: Kate Hudson

The baby boom is extreme in Hollywood! After Jewel and Tia Mowry announced pregnancies yesterday, unconfirmed news of Kate Hudson being in a family way hit the internet today.  Amid rumors of a split, she and boyfriend Matt Bellamy were said to be surprised by the news.  I personally am hearing a lot of news from friends that are expecting, how about you? Is January the month of sharing the news or something?

Leighton Lands Missoni

While co-star Blake Lively gets to shine as the face of Chanel, Leighton Meester has landed her own fashion campaign as the spokesmodel for Missoni.  Her first ad for the line is below.

 And back in New York, she returned to the fancy wardrobe of Blair Waldorf, sporting a McQ coat as she filmed scenes downtown.  Gossip Girl returns later this month with new episodes.

Shameless Star Emmy Rossum

Did you catch the premiere of Shameless on Sunday night?  It was a record-breaking show premiere for Showtime, which for me is becoming synonymous with great television.  The show stars Emmy Rossum, seen here heading to a ballet class in Los Angeles and running errands in Beverly Hills this week.  What did you think of the show?

Golden Globes Parties Begin: Zac, Alexander, Zoe

 Kicking off the Golden Globes festivities last night, a handful of celebs came out to party and celebrate their prettiness.  Zac Efron, who was spotted making out with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens at a club Friday night, arrived with pal Brittany Snow, who looked adorable in French Connection. I love French Connection cocktail dresses!

 Julianne Hough and Zoe Saldana both choose a metallic beige which should be very popular for the upcoming awards season.
