If you're from my hometown, you've absolutely had this salad (perhaps under a different name) at a bridal shower, baby shower, or luncheon of some kind. This recipe has made the rounds and everybody knows and loves it. It is a great combination of cool, crunchy, and sweet all at once. It is just as good without the chicken for those who are vegetarian or without candied nuts if you don't have the time (last night I just threw in pecans instead). I know you'll love it!
