While I am thankful my business trip to SXSW in Austin was cancelled last minute, I do really want to attend sometime in the future. Some of the celebrities in town to push their projects are Brittany Snow, Carla Gugino, Rosario Dawson, Michelle Monaghan, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Ellen Page.
SWSW covers some of the hottest new trends in technology, films, and music. One such sweetheart of the conference is Twitter, who is now celebrating it's 5th birthday. With 140 million tweets sent daily and 460,000 accounts created every day, if you haven't signed up, you are missing out! If you are a blogger, you should definitely at least start an account to secure your blog name as your twitter handle. Just a friendly suggestion to change out your icon from the standard "egg" when you log on so your friend requests don't look like spammers!

I have always wanted to go to SXSW! Mostly because I want a reason to hob nob and hopefully run into Rachel Ray when she's tipsy... is that bad? lol I adore her.
