It was a great couple weeks off for me and I burned the candle at both ends while holding a lighter to the middle. I had so much fun with my family and friends over Christmas, then headed to Monterey for a New Years Eve wedding. There were about 30 kids from my high school class there and I think we were more out of control than at our prom. On my way out, I realized my sister's National Park where she lives and works was not far away and made a detour to stay with her for the night. The way she lives is basically indoor camping: no cell phone service, internet, or television, dorm style living, etc. I don't know how she does it, but I did enjoy the peace and quiet for a day. Because I was all go go go during the holidays, I didn't ever manage to get my Christmas cards done. Here's the photo I hoped to use of Cholula by our Christmas tree.
