PYTs: Blake, Hilary, Kim, Posh, Lea

Hilary Duff hosted Lucky magazine's shopping night.  She has had a great working relationship with the magazine for years now.  She obviously doesn't have a great working relationship with her hairdresser.  Blake Lively turned up to the SoHo shop opening of Realm.

 Kim Kardashian hosted the opening of the new DASH NYC store.  While rumors persist that she is recording an album, I hold fast to the hope that this is simply not true.  I don't think the media can handle any more Kardashian saturation.  Kendra Wilkinson is promoting her own reality show, which will cover the tough subjects of losing weight and dealing with a professional football player husband who lives in a cold climate.

 Victoria Beckham took her sons to a Galaxy game in Los Angeles.  Lea Michele and Dianna Agron prove to be friends off the set of Glee as they head to dinner at Little Dom's in LA.

Lauren Conrad is Back to Filming

LC is at work on her third reality show, tentatively titled Lauren Conrad: Fiercely Fashionable, and has been filming around West Los Angeles this week.  She is trying to keep her personal life out of the show, with the focus being on her business efforts.

Speaking of business efforts, things are going well here in Mexico other than a bad stroke of luck on my health.  After my doctor visit on my second day here, I was ordered to stay out of the sun, no swimming, no alcohol, and to stay in air conditioning as much as possible.  You can imagine how uncool that was to hear, but I'm glad my sister is here keeping me company.  Well, at least part of the time.  She's off on the ATV and Waverunner tour now, then has a massage booked, but she'll check in on me soon.  As for me, I'm off to read in the hammock which is a distant but still decent second to ocean jet skis.  Better luck next year.

Off the Market: Nick Lachey

Nick Lachey, 36, is engaged to girlfriend of four years, Vanessa Minnillo, 29.  The two began dating shortly after his divorce from Jessica Simpson, 30, in 2006 and only broke up briefly last summer.  Both Nick and Vanessa will celebrate their birthday next week on November 9th.  No announcement on their wedding plans yet.

Emma Watson looks completely adorable in a photo shoot for Marie Claire.  Love the neutrals and her haircut is even growing on me. Not for me personally, but on her.

WWD Turns 100: Olsens, Szohr, Rocha, Nemcova

The ultimate daily fashion news source Women's Wear Daily celebrated 100 years with a bas in New York.  Designers, models, and fashion fans turned up, mostly in black and in a wide variation on how formal was appropriate. Model Coco Rocha chose an edgier, causal look while Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman wore an eye catching cocktail mini dress from her line.

Don's Deal: Mexico, Day 1

Buenos dias from Playa del Carmen! I just did a whole walking video tour of the villa to post, but the file is apparently too big to send! Hard to believe it is possible, but we got even better rooms this time around.  The private pool also has a private hot tub, as well as a pool house with an oversized couch, eating area, flatscreen, and bar.  I see no reason to ever leave my room...except that I am here to work so I must!
I'm starting my day with a coffee as I wait for a doctor to come by.  I wasn't well when I left yesterday, and I am significantly worse today so let's hope I am on the mend by nightfall. Today will be all about final touches to gift bags, approving welcome packets, and preparing for the arrival of the big dogs (and my sister!).

DON's Deal: Viva Mexico!

Wow, what a crazy past few days it's been!  Watching the Giants win the World Series was so much fun last night; the energy in my hometown pub was electric.  Now I'm currently in rainy Dallas waiting out a delayed flight to Cancun where I have my big offsite event.  No, it's not a conference, just a long weekend of partying with some VIP clients.  My sister will be joining me tomorrow and I can't wait to show her the insane hotel.  Obviously, blogging will be a little sporadic for the next week, but I do hope to snag some downtime in my room every day to stay caught up with all the latest! I mean who really needs to leave a room like this? I know it will be my best work week ever. :)

Halloween Part 3: Bethenny, Heidi, Kim, Paris

  Ashanti got her Cheetah on at Heidi's party.  Bethenny and her entire family donned panda costumes for a photo op.

 Mother Theresa or the Virgin Mary? Either way, Christina Applegate had fun with her costume during the tail end of her pregnancy.  Heidi Klum and husband Seal once again went over the top with their costumes for their annual bash.

 Josh Kelley and Katherine Heigl took their daughter Naleigh to a local Halloween party.

 Kim Kardashian teamed up with her publicist as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf.  Paris chose a barely there Indian costume while Nicky kept it simple as Supergirl.  Paris is now gearing up for a new reality show, which she claims will depict her as she really is, as opposed to the dumb blonde she "played" for The Simple Life and BFF.

Busy Phillips dressed identically with her daughter for a round of trick or treating. Audrina Patridge and her boyfriend Corey have fun at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Holly Madison hosted a party in Las Vegas as Princess Peach from Mario Bros.

Halloween Part 2: SMG, LC, Suri, Xtina

Kate Winslet and her kids Joe and Mia went trick or treating in the West Village.

 Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian took their bumble bee son Mason out in New York for Halloween.  Sarah Michelle Gellar took her little Dorothy (aka daughter Charlotte) out in Santa Monica.  I half expect to hear a separation announcement from SMG and Freddie Prinze Jr. since they never seem to be photographed together. I hope not, but it seems strange.

Matthew Morrison and Stephanie Pratt both attended parties in West Hollywood last night.

 Lauren Conrad dressed up as Big Bird, while her boyfriend Kyle Howard went as Clark Kent.

 Newly single Christina Aguilera opted to play a cop, while Katie Holmes didn't bother to do much of anything with herself when she took daughter Suri and a friend to a Halloween party.

Kate Beckinsale and her husband Len Wiseman really got into their costumes while daughter Lily looked adorable as a candy girl.



Evan Rachel Wood Past True Blood Boyfriend

Evan Rachel Wood may have a strange personal life, but she is a pretty compelling actress.  Queen Sophie Anne is another fantastic Halloween costume idea, especially since her character will be back filming with the cast next month in preparation for season 4 of True Blood. She was interviewed this week after performing Rocky Horror Picture Show in Los Angeles, where she admitted to a relationship with a True Blood cast member, saying, "It's one of the most fun shows I've ever worked on. I just want to know what happens.  That set is just a love fest.  I've even been there myself, so there you go. I did date one of the cast members already, so I'm done." All evidence points towards the handsome Alexander Skarsgaard.

But somebody should give Scarlett Johansson a heads up when Evan starts work on George Clooney's Ides of March with Ryan Reynolds early next year.  Evan said, "It's going to be amazing. My character gets herself into a bit of a predicament with a politician, who's played by Ryan Gosling, so I'm very excited. I've had a total crush on him forever."  The 22-year-old certainly has a thing for older guys.

  JWoww and Snooki booth made sure they were in something revealing, but props to Snooki for originality as a Pickle Princess.
