Katherine Heigl Donates Big Bucks to the Animals

Oof, that is some yellow hair! But all in the name of a good cause.  Katherine Heigl has set up a foundation in the name of her brother who was killed in a car crash as a young man that will pledge $1 million to spay and neuter programs here in Los Angeles. Very generous indeed, go Katherine.  I have a question though: Is she wearing black tights with a nude outfit? Methinks so. :(

I saw her face looking up at me from the cover of InStyle that came out of my mailbox yesterday.  I swear she gets at least one of their covers every year.  Her new movie Life As We Know It seems to follow the exact plot of the book I read by Amanda Brown, Family Trust. She also wrote Legally Blonde.  Have any of you read Family Trust?  They claim the movie is not based on the book, but I don't see how it can't be.

Do any of you with access to teenage girls know if Taylor Momsen is actually likeable or somebody they are inspired by?  I mean, Madonna's daughter must like her, but I see zero appeal.

Jennifer Lopez: New Gig, New 'Do

I don't watch American Idol, but hear a lot about it from my co-worker who used to work there and the buzz from my Tweeps.  Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are the new judges, but this post is more about what's going on north of JLo's neck. That is a combover to make Donald Trump proud. Do you like?

You Again Premiere

You gotta love that Sigourney Weaver and Jamie Lee Curtis both wore the same dress to their premiere last night.  Hilarious and totally on point with the movie.  Odette Yustman chose a J Mendel dress and Kristen Bell wore Valentino. Betty White is just rolling in it during her Renaissance.

KBell, with some tragic hair this time, always rolls solo.  I'd love to see her walk a red carpet with her fiance Dax Shepard. On the red carpet last night, Kristen revealed that she dated Glee star Matt Morrison in college and that she loves seeing him on the show. Meanwhile, Odette brought along her fiance, Dave Annable.

Lindsay Lohan, who's hair is getting redder by the day, forgot her pants as she dined out in Los Angeles.  She can get up to 60 days for her two drug slip-ups and will soon be sentenced.  Emmy Rossum ran errands solo in LA. She is always solo, isn't she?

Oh, hey Mischa. Word is homegirl is single once more after splitting from British DJ Love.  She consoled herself with a new pair of leggings with peepshow knees and some Starbucks.  Hayden Panettiere flew back to LA and got to business of picking up groceries and running errands.

Hilary Duff heads to a jewelry store in Beverly Hills. Meow, OTK boots!  Lea Michele heads home from a day of work.

Serena Williams is white hot in Miami.  I haven't been to Miami in years.  I have a layover there in November and wish I could go out and play.

Kardashian Catch Up and LOLz

How hilarious are these photos?  Kim and Kris turned up at Octoberfest in Germany and posed with ice cream and beer steins. My company throws multiple Octoberfest parties (4 this year) and I'd like to state that I always win the beer chug competition against a co-worker, winning a Starbucks delivered to my desk the next morning. I've got mad skillz.

The ladies dressed up for shopping in dinner before leaving Italy for Germany.  Kris sure loves her sparkles, doesn't she? Kim chose a voluminous skirt for shopping and a Herve Lerger dress for dinner.  How you can eat in a dress like that is beyond me.

Wearing her new Bebe line was Khloe Kardashian, catching the Weezer concert and dinner at Katsuya with her hubby, Lamar.  They are so cute together.

For those rumors swirling that she's preggo based on the photos above (which makes no sense to me because I see no bump), here's a photo of Khloe this week at a liquor event getting down with a cocktail.

No new photos of Kourtney Kardashian, but I have some disturbing news about her boyfriend, Scott Disick (is there any other kind about him?).  He stated, "I'm going to start my own clothing line that will probably be out by 2011. It will have everything from shoes to clothing to cuff links to accessories.  I try not really wear anything off the rack due to the fact that once you wear something custom, it's hard to go back." All I can think of at this point is if you are into couples costumes for Halloween, get your S.O. to be this guy and go as Kourtney.

Olivia Palermo Rolls On With LFW

And now a post on the inspiration behind the character of Blair Waldorf.  Olivia Palermo continues to enjoy London Fashion week.  Not sure who made her dress in the first photo, but her clutch is her beloved Hermes and her shoes are Charlotte Olympia.  Same purse and shoe designers in the second pic. How cute is her skirt?

 Again, things like this make me want to chop my hair even more...I think between all my talk between cutting my hair and cutting bangs, I need to suck it up and do something different, I'm clearly ready for a change! (For the record, my hair is slightly wavy, waist-length blonde ombre...so very LA. Blah.)

Fashion Inspiration: Blair Waldorf, Yet Again

Did you watch Gossip Girl last night?  I won't give any spoilers, but I have a feeling this season is going to be much better than last.  For example, Blair totally has her mojo back and, honestly, she's the reason I watch.  Her wardrobe is climbing to new levels of amazing. Because I'm inspired, I'm going to roll through some more looks for Blair this year...

This dress from last night had my jaw on the floor and my fingers flying to my keyboard in search of perfection.  It's Bensoni Spring 2010 Polka Dot Dress paired with Roger Vivier felt pumps and I'm in love.

Serena looked amazing as well, but who could compete with Blair's red Valentino last night?

Doesn't she look just like a Samantha American Girl doll in that coat?! It's a DVF Peabody coat and she puts it over a Valentino twisted tunic dress that I covet for NYE (but it's $7,000 so that's not happening).

It just gets better! Blair in Victoria Beckham (with Missoni pumps and, of course, a Tiffany clutch) and a little more casual in a high waisted Alice and Olivia skirt and Marc Jacobs top.

What "love chub"?  Kate Winslet proves that new love can make you look better than ever.  She was the epitome of chic in Madrid last night with her new boyfriend, model Louis Dowler. After, they attended  Vanity Fair's second anniversary party.  Her shoes and clutch are by Christian Louboutin. 

SJP Turns Up At Burberry

One of my favorite fashion lines is Burberry Prorsum. Burberry definitely is supporting the leather trend (especially in the form of jeggings or mixed into a trench coat), as well as the mint, sand and cobalt colors for next year. There's also a lot of metallics up in this collection. If anybody else watched, were you super distracted by the short haired model who CANNOT walk? So awkward!

Celebs who turned up at the show included Sarah Jessica Parker, Alexa Chung, and a skinny minnie Cat Deely, all wearing Burberry.

Kate Beckinsale visits her podiatrist in Los Angeles.  She's gearing up to film yet another installment of Underworld.

Keri Russell runs errands in New York. She returns to television tomorrow night with the premiere of her new show, Running Wilde.  I recently watched Waitress again and I just love that movie so much. I was signing her pie baking song all weekend.  Marcia Cross collects her twin girls from preschool.

Celebs on Vacay: NicRic, Xtina, Lauren Conrad

Nicole Richie is currently vacationing and partying in Mexico with her besties.  She is reportedly there to celebrate her 29th birthday, which is tomorrow, but it also looks like it could be a bachelorette.  The party includes Christina Aguilera, Samantha Ronson, her hairstylist Andy LeCompte, and stylist and friend Simone Harouche.  Happy that Nicole is behind her days of a skeletal physique.

Also caught on vacay by a fan was Lauren Conrad with boyfriend Kyle Howard vacationing in Bali. Kyle has all the time in the world now that his show My Boys was cancelled and soon his girlfriend will be packed with promotional gigs.  Relax while you can, kids!
