DON Says Dance: Queen

I have been on a major Queen kick this week, ever since I made a Pandora channel based on Fat Bottomed Girls (it is amazing, I've been rocking out big time).  And when Queen meets Wayne's World, how can you not love that?  Also, below is my favorite scene from the movie.  I can't tell you how many times I used to quote this scene.  Hope you all have a great weekend, I'll be at Manhattan Beach enjoying the 6 Man Tournament, some bike riding on my beach cruiser Archie (he's argyle and oh so preppy), and dominating in the drinking games. Big House Bound: Snooki

Snooki was arrested this afternoon on the Jersey Shore for being drunk and disorderly in public.  She was filming scenes, along with JWoww, for season 3 of Jersey Shore. These photos are kind of amazing, no?

Summer Fun in LA: Kim, Tiz, Vanessa

Ashley Tisdale heads out for the day in Los Angeles.  She does a great job of adding tough looking pieces to her wardrobe.  Her spiked clutch is Tylie Malibu Runaway, her dangly feather earrings are Zebra Rooster Tail, and her hipster shoes are Loubs.  Vanessa Hudgens, however, still looks pretty messy.  Those Sass and Bide pants are just extremely unflattering.  They make me think of Peg Bundy.

Kim Kardashian spent yesterday doing what she kind of always does - her nails, a massage, shopping, and then dinner with friend Lala at Katsuya.  I will say that Katsuya is a restaurant that lives up to the hype.  I get hungry just thinking about it.  I used them to cater one of our parties and the tasting was one of the best days ever.  Back to the clothes: shopping happened in Tom Ford goggles giant sunnies, Siwy Hannah Cropped white jeans, Madison Marcus jacket, Hermes bag, and L.A.M.B. heels.  Dinner happened in a hot leather dress, Proenza Schouler shoes, Plastic Island blazer, and Alexander Wang clutch.  Will you ever see me in a leather dress? Um, no, I think of Ross Gellar getting trapped in his leather pants on a date.

KCav got her mani/pedi on before heading out to Voyeur to party at night.  She looked drunk or angry, but check out her cute cheetah heels.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, who has a new boyfriend, a director, headed out for lunch at the Good Earth in Studio City.  She really shifts between looking adorable and looking frumptastic.  This would be the later. Camilla Alves got her money's worth as she exits the Byron and Tracey salon with perfect hair. You can catch her in the sure to be groundbreaking film The Confident with acting talent like Bai Ling, David Banner, and Billy Zane.  Also breaking into film is Laurence Fishburne's 19 year old daughter, who will star in a porn for Vivid.  Her reasoning? It made Kim Kardashian famous so why wouldn't it work for me? What a nata!

Summer Jobs: Nicole, Carrie, Jessica, Katie

Carrie Underwood shows off her wedding ring as she promotes her fall tour. This outfit is little weird, no?  Carrie said after spending time in Napa and Bora Bora, she's back to work promoting her album while her husband is teaching a hockey camp in Canada.

Jessica Biel continues her European tour for A Team.  She looks like she is so over it. Even her clothes are over it. That yellow suit is beyond hideous.  I have that yellow coat...and I wear it when I am performing lip syncs to Rod Stewart.  Blue dress is Atelier Versace.

Katie Holmes takes a meeting at the Sunset Towers again.  She is spending a ton of time traveling this summer.  Adrienne Bailon seemed like she had a ton of projects about to break when she was on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but I haven't really seen her do much.  She had a business meeting in New York, so hopefully she was working it out because she's Cheetahlicious and I like her.

Nicole Scherzinger heads home after rehearsal for Rent at the Hollywood Bowl, where she will be playing the part of Maureen (Vanessa Hudgens is Mimi).  Tara Reid's job is basically being a drunk sloppy trashbag so she clocked in to work on a yacht in St. Tropez and took her role seriously.

Workin' It Out: Kim, Khloe, Ashley

Good morning, lovelies! Did you get in a workout this morning? I sure didn't since my toes are still broken and all, but I did drink a coffee while playing games on my iPad at the dog park while Lula got her jog on. But some celebs aren't as lazy as moi. 

Lauren Conrad hiked with Frankie in Runyon Canyon.  You can really see how short her hair still is with the ends just peeking out of the top of her ponytail.

Hilary Duff continues with her heavy workout schedule with piloxing class in the valley.  I'm hearing the wedding is going to be in Santa Barbara in October.  This probably means she's getting married this weekend and throwing people off.

Ashley Greene gets a seriously sweat going as she works out in Los Angeles.  The Kardashians look like they barely moved while attending Barry's Boot Camp in Los Angeles.  Ok, it does look like their fingers are getting a workout.

The adorable Joseph Gordon-Levitt rides a bike in the new film he's shooting.  He is also gearing up for his first musical, which I think he'll be awesome at after seeing 500 Days of Summer.

BTW, do you think Matthew McConaughey is going through exercise withdrawls since having his kids?  No photos of him jogging, surfing, biking, topless bongo playing...nothing!

When Bad Jeans Happen to Good People

Sometimes lots of money and an experimental sense of fashion leads to bad choices.  Blake Lively wore Ralph Lauren's ludicrous $7500 ripped jeans in New York.  Rachel Bilson in James Jeans Twiggy 5 Pocket jeggings. I mean, these are just fug.

Michelle Trachtenberg wore AG Skinny Cargos in Fatigue Green which are totally unflattering on her.  She was at an environmental debate, but somehow I think she was there for the red carpet photos, cocktails, and texting the whole time.  Once we were pitched as having her host a party of ours and she wanted at least ten grand, but requested 20.  I laughed.

Are You In or Are You Out?

Project Runway season 8 starts tonight and the show has expanded to a full 90 minutes long.  Reigining hot mama supreme Heidi Klum (who looked stunning in a Givenchy jumpsuit at the premiere party) said they added to the show to help go into more detail over the elimination process.  Since that is my least favorite part of the show, I'll be watching in fast foward - thanks Tivo!

Other shows I'm so stoked to see return in the next couple weeks are The Rachel Zoe Project and Flipping Out.  I just love the houses Jeff Lewis puts together and the show is so inspiring.

I made my mom watch three episodes of RZ while she was visiting and when she asked what the show was about, I had a hard time explaining beyond, "Well, she's a stylist.  They have to find outfits...and there's lots of drama around that."  It does sound pretty stupid when you think about it, but I thoroughly enjoy the show.  I think I will really miss Taylor.  She was a brat, but my favorite and quite frankly I identified with her in a lot of ways.  I can take my job too seriously sometimes too.  She is now styling Kate Beckinsale (and you know how I feel about Kate's wardrobe) and word is the only stealing she did was having clients follow her away from Rachel. 

As for inside scoop, a good friend of mine is dating a member of Camp Zoe...no shock here, but Rachel hardly ever eats, mostly just steamed veggies and coffee, and Rodger encourages her to be really skinny, he loves it.  They both are obsessed with socializing with celebs and Rachel was apparently the hottest girl they went to college with, a total commodity.  But the reason she looks a bit older now is that she smokes 2 packs a day!  Surprising since they never show that on film, right?

Party Pics: 90210, GG, and Dexter?

CBS, Showtime, and the CW gathered their stars to celebrate their Fall lineup.  Annalynne McCord, for once, looks fantastic, no?  Now, let's compare here with say, um, Ed Westwick. WTH dude?  You look like the baby of Colin Farrell and a chimpanzee.  Also at the event were the Jessicas Stroup and Lowndes, Gabourey Sidibe, Shanae Grimes, and Shane West.  Gotta say it is WONDERFUL to see Michael C. Hall looking happy and healthy now that he is cancer-free! I cannot wait for the new season of Dexter.  If you don't get Showtime, I strongly encourage you to rent the show or get it on iTunes.  It is simply fantastic.  Also, Ashley Tisdale returned from filming in Canada and looks very, very pretty.

Hills and City Girls Summer Fun: LC, Audrina, Olivia

Lauren Conrad went out to My Studio to support her childhood friend's spin on the turntables.  This look is so classic LC, I love it! I would wear this in a hearbeat.  Earlier in the day, she went hiking with Frankie Delgado and has been tweeting a ton about her excitment for Shark Week and tonight's return of Jersey Shore.  I must admit, I'm less interested in the show now that they all think they are cool.  But I have hopes Snooki will reel me back in with her magical poof.

Audrina Patridge was the lone castmember present at the London finale of The Hills.  While overseas, she is also doing promotional work as the Bongo girl.  She has said her solo reality show is still in talks, but would focus on her real life of promo work, "acting", and hanging out with her real friends.

Stephanie Pratt went out to dinner with her boyfriend Josh Hansen, disproving rumors the two had split.  She will be front and center during the upcoming X Games to support him.

Whitney Port donned a perfect Bill Cosby sweater for some shopping in Beverly Hills with her family.  Lo Bosworth spent the week vacationing in Cabo, Kristin is still not in Europe, but rather hanging out in LA, and Heidi and Spencer have reportedly been spending time together.
