Gossip Girl Wraps in Paris

After shoving Serena in a fountain last night (this is how I like my Blair Waldorf), the girls headed over to Harry Winston for one final day of shooting.  Kind of tragic that she is going into the water in a Chanel blazer.  In the daytime shoot, Blake is wearing an Emilio Pucci Spring 2010 Metallic Jacket, Tibi Spring 2010 pants, and flip flops in between takes (but during the scene she was in Brian Atwood Loca Studded pumps).  Leighton is in Oscar de la Renta. I'm starting to think Brian Atwood, YSL, and Christian Loubs are the only acceptable heels in Hollywood. 

Summertime and the Livin's Easy: Celebs on Vacay

Rachel Barry and ex-boyfriend Jesse St. James...sorry, I meant Lea Michele and gay best friend Jonathan Groff enjoyed a night out at the Sara Bareilles concert in New York last night. She is remarkable for a 23-year-old and I can't wait for season 2 of Glee.

Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter Apple enjoy some vacation shopping in Paris. Check out her pretty Goyard St Louis tote paired with her casual Current/Elliot cargo shorts.  Olivia Palermo moved on to Germany for another country of Fashion Week.

Audrina Patridge is going for round 3 with BMX rider Corey Bohan.  This might be why she's been so under the radar.  Also, I kind of want to barf that from this one photo I know they are at the Encore in Las Vegas because I spent a week there in March. If you are looking for a gorgeous room in Vegas (which, let's be honest, isn't really necessary, but is nice), the Encore is my favorite.  Hello, black out shades by remote a la The Holiday and chic gold and black interiors.  Love.

  Victoria Beckham is back flying the friendly skies heading to Nice after just returning to London.  Busy chick, that one.

Rod Stewart enjoys Cannes with his young son and wife Penny.  If you do not own Rod Stewart Live in Concert, you really are doing yourself a disservice.  Remember those costume pieces I tweeted about?  Last weekend my sister and I acted out Rod Stewart Live at a bachelorette party.  I was Rod, obvio, and we killed it.

Soundbites: Christina Hendricks on her Red Hair

Christina Hendricks is the firecracker Joan Holloway on Mad Men and all that is womanly.  I love her even more after reading why she began dying her hair that signature red at the age of 10:

"I was obsessed with the Canadian novel Anne of Green Gables. I decided I was Anne of Green Gables. There was something that spoke to me about her, and I wanted to have her beautiful red hair. So my mother said, 'Let's just go to the drugstore and get one of those cover-the-gray rinses!' My hair was very blond at the time, but it went carrot red. And I was over the moon. I went to school the next day and felt like myself. And then I went back [to that color] over and over again. What a cool mom, right?"

Lindsay Lohan Can Write

Lindsay Lohan deserves an A in penmanship.  She wrote some very neat notes while sitting through her court hearing, starting with how her dad was in court sitting behind her sister and something about "those are her so-called friends". Really, I'm just a fan of her handwriting and we've got a slow news day on our hands.  Anybody have any post requests, ideas, or questions for me?  I'm in need of some inspiration.

Hot Couple of the Minute: Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson

Jessica Simpson, who turns 30 tomorrow, is in Capri celebrating with her new boyfriend Eric Johnson.  This time last year she was getting dumped for her birthday by Tony Romo, then went on to briefly date Billy Corgan.  Eric is an NFL free agent who has previously played for the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints.  He separated from his wife in January and she filed for divorce in February.

We all know that Jessica puts on the love chub when she begins dating somebody new and drops big pounds when she splits.  This MuMu is not a great sign that she's broken that pattern. Good luck, Jess and happy birthday!

Mommy and Me: Salma and Valentina at Disneyland

In addition to being obsessed with travel fashion, I have a healthy interest in what people wear to all-day excursions like Disneyland or museums.  A full day on your feet, in and out of the heat, plenty of supplies in your bag.  For Salma Hayek, the day calls for practical Addidas sneakers, a YSL hobo bag, and some under cover shades and hat.  I bet it is the perfect weather in Anaheim, how lucky all the summer-goers are!  I absolutely love going to Disneyland and really want to see it at Halloween.

Lookie here!  After years of construction, It's A Small World is back open.  If you hadn't heard, they had to retrench a deeper moat because fatties were repeatedly sinking their boats!  How depressing is that?

Airport Love: Miranda and Orlando

How cute are Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr.  They've been apart for awhile and when she jetted into Heathrow, he was there to greet her with open, skinny arms.

Breaking News: Jessica Alba Wears Coordinating Shoes

Jessica Alba finally found a pair of shoes that worked with her dress while attending the Hugo Boss show in Paris with Ewan McGregor.  I'm not crazy about her Bieber hair, but otherwise, she looks good.

Twenty Four Hours with Kim Kardashian

Yesterday Kim Kardashian started her day by heading over to Anastasia's salon in Beverly Hills for a little eyebrow maintance.  Anastasia charges $80 a visit, but has a lot of over the counter products available.  Do you wax your eyebrows? I've tried getting them waxed, threaded, tweezed, you name it and I always break out, it is so bizarre.  I have given up trying and work them myself. Anybody else have this problem, or found a good solution?

That night, she picked up some Mr. Chow to go and headed over to Lindsay Lohan's house.  Good friend?  Methinks not.  Hello, photo opp and first hand gossip, she's on it!  She wore Tom Ford shades, YSL shoes, and her fav Balenciaga bag. This morning it was back to the grind and Barry's Boot Camp.

Jeans Vs Jorts: Jorts Rule

It has been so grey and drizzly here in LA that I thought jeans might have a fighting chance, but no such luck, the jorts are overwhelmingly on top! I personally have been wearing tons of jeans because we are not having a proper summer (but I'm not complaining, sounds like everybody else is sweltering).

Ashley Greene ran errands in Goldrush shorts by J Brand and a pretty cream blouse. 

Ashlee Simpson chooses bell bottoms and Louis Vuitton for a flight out of LAX with her mom. I was going to say I miss seeing pics of her, but I really don't think I do.  It will be interesting to see what she does with her career in the years to come.

Nicky Hilton wore Paige Denim Silverlake Shorts in Harlow while hitting up the shops in Malibu, while Blake Lively paired Whitley Kros Vista Straight Leg jeans with a Lanvin bag and TopShop sweater in Paris. Oh Blake, so pretty!

KCav chose Black Orchid white jorts.  She LOVES this denim line, but I don't like how she pulled this outfit together at all.

Miley Cyrus grabbed a smoothie in Los Angeles wearing Siwy short jorts and Frye boots.  And the extensions are gone again!?  I'm so confused as to what she's going for here, but I hope she leaves them off for awhile!

Joel and Nicole Visit Disneyland

Before Joel Madden returned to tour with Good Charlotte, he spent a day with NicRic and daughter Harlow at Disneyland.  Fantasyland is baby central and that's exactly where they hung out.

Ok, in this round of Valentino, I'm giving it to Jessica Alba.  At a dinner party held at Versailles for Valentino, Jessica looked drop dead gorgeous. Claire Danes, Elizabeth Hurley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Anna Wintour, Blake Lively, and Olivia Palermo also brought their fashion A game.

My Pretty Valentino: The Runway

I adore Valentino! I have loved his gorgeous red dresses since high school and dream of someday having one myself.  Claire Danes was lucky enough to score one from his Fall 2010 collection to wear front row at his show, along with her husband Hugh Dancy.  Jessica Alba also landed a Valentino dress, a white floral number similar to his Resort collection.  Once again, she pair it with bad shoes and this time some bad lipstick, too.  Olivia Palermo chose a Valentino Spring 2010 dress in nude. But Claire's look is the one I'd want myself. Do you like?
