DON's Deal: NY, NY Big City of Dreams

I'm mid-flight and stoked that I can bloggity blog the whole way to NYC!  I'm visiting tonight with my dear friend from Semester at Sea.  We bonded over spending our last coins in a shopping mall in Japan on the weirdest things we could possibly find (and Sapporos, let's be real).  We also missed dock time and chose to run alongside the ship full of hundreds of students and got them to do the wave before being sent for a visit with the dean. Totally worth it.

The Hills Reshoots Scenes From January

The most real reality shows often ask their stars to wear outfits they wore when filming in mid-January and meet for a casual, unplanned reenactment of something that happened months ago.  Here the director is telling Stephanie Pratt that even though she can't understand the words coming out of Lo Bosworth's mouth, to try to show some expressions.

Soundbites: Gwyneth Paltrow for Bazaar

Gwyneth Paltrow is so stunning in this spread, I wish I had better quality pics for you.  She has been working out hard core after gaining some weight for her role in Love Don't Let Me Down, in which she plays a fallen country star who teams up with a musician on the rise.  Their partnership causes drama with her husband/manager (Tim McGraw) and his beauty queen/singer girlfriend (Leighton Meester). 

Living in Nashville for two months, she enjoyed lots of fried chicken and liquor. She revealed, "The director, Shana Feste, didn’t want me to have any definition whatsoever, so I had to stop working out. I was so bad with the food and alcohol in Nashville.  If you saw me naked compared to what I looked like when I did Iron Man 2, when I was exercising every day–I’ll get it back together, but I’ve never eaten so much fried food and white flour in my life, ever. Oh, God..."

WTF: Bradley Cooper

This is NOT how I prefer my man Bradley Cooper to present himself.  He should be glamorous, smiling, funny, and NOT on the arm of Renee Zellweger.  This was going to be my last post of the day, but I refuse to leave this floating around as the top story.

Katie Holmes and daughter Suri enjoy a lunch date.  I think she's been skimming the JCrew catalog a few too many times with those socks and Mary Janes.  That's totally how I rock them when I am breaking in new heels.

Workin' It Out: Gwyneth, Kardashians, Olivia

Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian enjoy bouncing along the beach in Miami.  I've done this (in the safety of an apartment) and it is totally fun.  I don't know that I would go bouncing around outside though.

Mischa Barton grabs a breakfast of egg salad sandwich and tea from Starbucks yesterday.  She remember her smokes but forgot the bra.

Ryan Phillipe heads back to his car after lunch in Beverly Hills.  Hello, grumpy!

Three Premieres: Demi Moore, Anne Hathaway and Rachel Bilson

Demi Moore absolutely killed it in this pink mini dress by Marchesa at the premiere of The Joneses.  She walked the red carpet with her husband Ashton, daughter Rumer, and co-star David Duchovny. Eva Longoria also attended.

Meanwhile, Rachel Bilson attended her own screening of Waiting for Forever as part of the Gen Art Film Festival held at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York.  This dress looks way too much like a bra, IMO.

Oh, and Anne Hathaway was at the screening of Breaking Upwards.

I've never seen her hair so flat!
