Katie Holmes took her rapidly growing daughter Suri out for dinner in New York City.  The two have been spending their time away from Tom Cruise, fueling speculation that the relationship is nearing it's end.  I don't think they are there yet.

Bride-to-be Hilary Duff did some shopping at Vera Wang in Beverly Hills.  Looks like she picked up some new frocks! 

Khloe Kardashian Hearts Her Ripped Jeans

Khloe Kardashian hasn't been spending nearly as much time with her sister Kourtney as Kim has.  Last night was an exception as she pulled on her white jeans and headed to dinner with her eldest sibling.  Then this morning, she opted for dark jeans while having breakfast with her momager at a hotel.  She sure seems to be wearing a lot of clothes for that Miami heat!

It's April, and wedding and beach season are almost upon us.  This means I'm going to make an attempt to clean up my bad habits and get ready for a slamming summer.

KCav: In Regards To White Shoes

KCav and I are outfit twins today!  Well, nearly.  I'm wearing a J.Crew cardi in that same color over a white tee with jeans, plus a gold necklace.  I also just put in a waitlist request for a gorgeous white Furla tote on Ideeli.com.  Must think of what I can do to actually deserve it in case it becomes available.

Question: what are your thoughts on white shoes? I generally find them to be kind of tacky and reminiscent of either childhood patent leather Easter shoes or the Vanna White-meets-Little-Miss-Perfect ensemble a sorority sister wore to Fall Formal senior year (I've got to post that for you). However, I know they are coming back big time for Spring.  Brit Brit's example yesterday is how not to wear them, but Kristin here is kind of confusing my usually strict policy.  Let me know what you think...

The Darker Side: Gwyneth, LiLo, Jennifer Hudson

What, no Spring Fever, ladies?  Spied a lot of winter's black on black trend stilling fighting to stay alive in a sea of rompers, florals, jorts, and nude platforms!  Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna, with boy toy Jesus, attended a private dinner party in Chelsea last night.

Jennifer Hudson made her way off the set of Good Morning America, where the young mom announced she's the latest rep for Weight Watchers.  She joined the program shortly after giving birth 7 months ago and has taken off all her pregnancy weight and more. She looks great!

Shannen Doherty is enjoying her reclaimed fame, even if it is after a pretty short stint on DWTS.  She made her way around Manhattan yesterday, where she has plenty of press to speak with.

Shanae Grimes, you tricky little thing!  Here she is at a party for St. Jude's at the Avalon hotel (LOVE the Avalon, such a peaceful, sunny little spot in Beverly Hills and decorated by the fab Kelly Wearstler) and she once again managed to look great!  She's for sure the newest recruit to our Keep Kiki Kute Kampaign.

Speaking of not cute...hey there LiLo.  In addition to walking the red carpet for the Star magazine party at Voyeur last night, she been airing her dirty laundry on Twitter once again.  Late night tweets about somebody who has wronged her as her father has done, followed by early morning tweets saying her father is coming after her for mentioning his abuse again.

Retail Therapy with Reese and Kate

Good morning, party people!  No April Fool's jokes from me...I get burned almost every year at my office aka The Frat House and that's enough of the holiday for moi.  Let's start the day (and the new quarter, can you believe it?) on a fun note with two DON favs getting their shop on.  Reese Witherspoon hit up the Lost and Found boutique in Hollywood yesterday.  She is going to have a crazy year with four movies lined up.  I'm most excited to see Water for Elephants.  If you are looking for a summer read, you can't go wrong with that one.

 

Meanwhile, over in West Hollywood Kate Beckinsale did some shopping with her assistant at Fred Segal. What the what is Britney wearing now? Turn off the Taylor Swift video, you are not a Junior Jewel with those glasses on. I was so excited when I saw she went shopping on Rodeo, but guess where she shopped? Bebe! Of all places! Sigh.

Whitney Port hails a cab in SoHo. The new season of The City is coming your way very soon. Meanwhile, she is still dating Ben Nemtin from The Buried Life. He had an appearance on Oprah to film last weekend and she flew out and partied in Chicago with him.

Nicole Richie is STILL not done with her mandatory traffic school. She headed to class this morning in Van Nuys.
Kim Kardashian spent the afternoon shopping at a baby boutique in Miami, picking up $500 worth of merchanise for Mason in less than ten minutes. Later she laid out with her sister while filming scenes for Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami (which looks like it should be renamed Kourtney and Kim). Ashley Tisdale grabbed breakfast at Paty's this morning. High School Musical may be a wrap, but Sharpay is not! Ashley will film her own movie based on her character's move to New York seeking fame and fortune, titled Broadway Bound.

Not Such PYTs

Sometimes, even celebs don't get it right. The weather was pretty weird yesterday so I'm going to blame the almost across the board bad outfits on that, with the exception of those celebs (ahem, Paris Hilton) who just have very bad taste in general.

Doesn't she kind of look like she just exited a big greyhound and is looking for a break? Man, I loved that movie.

Lauren Conrad Returns Home

After another round of promo appearance on the East Coast, Lauren Conrad arrived back in LA very late last night, looking a bit sleepy. She has a third book in the works, as well as production deal in development for the stories. Have you checked out her latest line at Kohl's? I heard it wasn't great quality (which is what I found for her previous line). I'd love to see her pull together a collection I could support!

Workin' It Out: Reese Witherspoon

Doesn't Reese seem so happy lately? Seems like every photo has her smiling or laughing. Here she is leaving the gym this morning. Fact: you will never see me smiling after the gym. Also, you probably won't see me at the gym - I've been once in 2010. Going to try to be a little more Reese-like and work it out.

Socialite style icon Olivia Palermo celebrated her first jewelry collaboration with Roberta Freymann. The collection of bib necklaces range from $175 - $250. IMO these types of necklaces look best on a high neckline, be it a t-shirt or a cocktail dress. I have a feeling this is the first of many designs we'll see from Olivia. Would you buy one?
