The ladies of The Black Swan stood out as the prima PYTs at last night's Gotham Independent Film Awards. Natalie Portman was flawless in a Lanvin for H&M dress with Tiffany earrings and a Dior clutch. Her hair, makeup, and styling are perfecto and making me sorry I didn't stand in line to check out what I think is H&M's best colloboration yet. Mila Kunis also looked superb in an Oscar de la Renta navy silk dress with Loub pumps.
Less exciting were Anne Hathaway in a floral Dolce & Gabbana (blech), bad highlights and flat hair. I'm starting to feel like Leighton Meester is the sister I wish I could dress but am reluctantly accepting she will always pick clothes I would not. Because this is the case, I'm fine with this outfit. Much like a child who wears their Halloween costume to church in May, she's difficult, but adorable.
Winona Ryder just looks scary and I feel like I should offer Hilary Swank my highlight appointment for Saturday. She needs a few hours in the chair.
