Country Strong Premiere: Faith, Gwyneth, Leighton

On a red carpet featuring Leighton Meester, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Faith Hill, it would have been tough to guess who would outshine her gorgeous fellow celebrities.  At the Country Strong premiere, it was another huge win for Gwyneth in the fashion department.  The past few years she really has reclaimed her Golden Girl status on the red carpet, and there was no exception as she arrived in a gorgeous Ralph Rucci dress, Lanvin heels, and perfect hair and makeup.  Faith certainly gave her a run for her money, accessorized by her handsome hubby Tim McGraw.  Leighton sure loves to be different instead of pretty.  She wore a Marc Jacobs dress and inexplicably chose to wear extremely light makeup with the exception of a heavy brow.  Maybe she threw in the towel rather than try to compete with Gwyneth?  Who is her stylist, arrest her!!

Sara Evans is trying to fend off pregnancy rumors, but that dress screams baby bump!
Now, try not to lose your lunch, but below is a screenshot of Gwyneth from the movie for which she gained 20 lbs.  That's right, Gwyneth Paltrow, the face of obesity.  Don't worry, she has already lost all that weight and then some; we now return to your typical Hollywood starlet impossible standard of beauty.  And on that note, I'm off to lunch!

i'm going to be weird here b/c i love leighton's look. the makeup is a little off, but i'm so in love with the dress i'll overlook it. gwyneth's is boring to me. i loathe a drop waist so i guess that is part of my contempt.

I love Gwyneth and I am looking forward to this movie! It does look like everyone was told to look ugly so G would look the best! hahahaha

Oh to be Gwyneth Paltrow's "plus 20 lbs" size. I really can barely tell a difference... I do love her, though, so I'm sure I'll see Country Strong, despite its questionable title. Can we talk about how odd it is to see Tim McGraw sans hat?
