Oh happy Monday to me when I get to do a travel fashion post on one of my favorites, Lauren Conrad! She has been in a real comfort phase this summer, with cashmere sweatshirts, large soft bags, and wearing almost exclusively her Rainbow flip flops. She jetted to New York wearing her own line of leggings, a light sweater, Chanel plastic frames, her flops, and two fabulous carry-on bags: her Goyard and Balenciaga Weekender. She sat waiting for her luggage solo and seems to have ditched having an assistant.
I have such a process for traveling and love hearing about other people's go-to travel necessities. Lauren recently shared hers: Aquaphor ointment (for removing makeup, curing dry hands, etc), a notebook and pen, Blackberry, mini toothbrushes with pre-loaded toothpaste, a Mason Pearson brush, and almonds and baby carrots. What would I find in your carry-on?
Before heading to New York, she hosted a pool party at TAO beach in Las Vegas. Look new sandals! They are Urban Outfitters Ecote Braided Leather. She strayed from her Ray Bans and returned to her Dita Supadupa's for this event. I have to say, my hair is slightly ombre (not as extreme as Lauren's) and I'm getting over it. I never was wildly in love with it, but it is much easier for upkeep so I went with the trend at my salon. Secretly, I'm dreaming of chopping my hair for fall, but after countless years with very long hair, we'll see...

I don't know much of her nor have I seen her show(s) but well-aware of her fashion related personality. She seems down-to-earth and I love the looks she wears in this shoot. Fun and flirty..she's pretty.
I would love to know who makes the black/tan frames she sported in one look--may have to wait for the book to find out.
I don't think I've ever had a negative thing to say about LC, ever. I just love her. Her style is adorable, I haven't found anything at my local Khols I couldn't live without from her line but I'm hopeful for fall.
She's adorable and classy and I love that about her.
I'm a bit obsessed with the ombre look but where I lived (small town Alabama) vs. where I used to live (right outside of DC/Baltimore) I doubt anyone here would get it and probably think I was just a girl that lived in a trailer that couldn't afford to get my "hair did" ;)
LC has such a sense of style thats easy and comfy and not trying hard at all! I love that about her! I snagged a couple of her pieces of Kohl's this summer (Kohl's i know!), but I love wearing them. Her book looks fab!

I always travel with books, magazines, my Ipod, and if its a long flight, my portable DVD player. I need to be entertained.
