Best dressed? Hands down Mariska Hargitay IMO. And worst? I'm giving that to Ashley Judd. Her outfit, a white eyelet dress with a giant flower headpiece, is appropriate for a wedding in Maui, not a White House dinner. I also really liked Jessica Alba's statuesque Marios Schwab dress.
ScarJo's Miu Miu dress looks like a maternity mistake, which is too bad since the color is perfect for her. Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon both went classic and conservative (Davis in Balmain, Nixon in Calvin Klein). Jessica Simpson stood out in a yellow Carolina Herrera with the ever so popular YSL Trib Two’s heels. Rosario Dawson wore a simple but sexy black strapless, and Kim Kardashian took an old Valentino from her mom's closet for the event. And the Jonas Brothers and timeless Michelle Pfiffer just for fun.

I hate it when people wear short dresses to a White House Dinner. I think classic and conservative in a long dress, such as Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, is the way to go.
Even Kim Kardashian had the good sense to wear something appropriate.
Thank you for only showing the top half of the Jonas Brothers. I usually like there outfits until I look down and see there “way too tight” pants.

I loved the fact that Kim took an old dress out of her Mothers closet! So cool!! And she looked great! Agree with all you said! Ashley Judd sure did disappoint!
