There was some bold and daring fashion choices at the premiere of Sex and the City 2 last night. Sarah Jessica Parker wowed in a yellow Valentino and Kim Cattrall sparkled in a gold Naeem Khan. Cynthia Nixon kept it simpler in Carolina Hererra, as did Kristin Davis in Jean Desses (which worked since she opted for such a bright pink hue). Plenty of other stars turned up to celebrate and I think overwhelmingly misjudged how amazing their edgy ensembles worked out (see Ashanti).
Becki Newton in a Celine Resort blazer, black leather shorts, Brian Atwood heels and a Chanel clutch. Jennifer Love Hewitt chose a Herve Lerger dress.
Chris Noth and wife. Michelle Trachtenberg in a classic Notte by Marchesa red dress.
Jessica Szohr wore a Willow tuxedo jumpsuit and wedge heels. Petra Nemcova rolling solo.
Trying WAY too hard to channel Carrie in Moschino.

Loved SJP's dress! So gorgeous!
the 4 girls looked fantastic! everyone else? thumbs DOWN. something about the color scheme going on on the red carpet washed everyone out also. but as long as SJP rocked it...nothing else really matters.
WORD to that.
Love Whitney's dress, but hate those stupid shoes she has on. Do they not have sunlight in NYC?
