I'm not a huge fan of her personality, but I like most of her music. Much to the disdain of my friends, I frequently played her Spanish album until they too were singing "Ven Conmigo" instead of "Come on Over." She marinates a long time between albums and her next, Bionic, has been four years in the making. She released the cover art below and the album drops on June 8th. She celebrated her finished album partying last night at the Troubadour. What happened to all that glamour we saw at the Oscars? I should have known it was smoke and mirrors - deep down she's still a dirrrrty girl.
