All That Shimmers: AMA Fashion Report

High drama fashion continues through November and into the America Music Awards. The current trend of hard rockin' couture was favored by Rihanna, Fergie, and Leona Lewis. But the real trend of the night was shimmery metalics - from chain metal to gold beading, the red carpet looked like a line-up of OPI at the salon. Pretty, sparkly little things they were, but most also added some edge to their ensembles, like Kristen Bell's bare midriff, Fergie's extra front leg slit, and Kate Hudson's plunging and barely there neckline. Two noteable variations were Shakira and Alicia Keys, both of whom sparkled, but chose bold colors for their dresses rather than the metalics of choice.
