John Travolta and Kelly Preston's son Jett, 16, died in the Bahamas where the family was celebrating the New Year. The news so far has said that he died of a seizure and may have hit his head on the bathtub during the seizure. Jett's health made national news in 2002 when Kelly Preston discussed his rare condition, Kawasaki syndrome, a collection of symptoms that stem from swollen arteries. They turned to Scientology to help attempt to control his condition. The Travolta's also have an 8 year old daughter, Ella.
Fergie has been working her butt off, literally, in time for her January 10th wedding. She had gained weight for a film role that she was forced to hold on to until reshoots were completed in December, so she had a tight deadline. She spent NYE at Lavo where she celebrated 2009 with fiancé Josh Duhamel and said she's been dropping the weight with walking, tons of situps, and weight lifting.

Jessica Simpson, 28, rushed to visit her injured boyfriend, Tony Romo, 28, after he collapsed in the shower after his last Cowboy's game. He had torn cartilage in his ribs which popped out of place twice during the game and again afterward, which is what caused him to collapse.
Amazingly, Kristin Cavalleri is still able to command hosting fees and arrived in Miami today to get to work. She is on a D-list compiliation of celebs hosting The Shore Club’s Skybar New Year's Eve party, along with Kellan Lutz (Twilight), and Robert Iler (The Sopranos).
Kim Kardashian checked out the holiday sales at Burberry in Beverly Hills yesterday. Her New Year's resolutions? "To just tone up more and continue to get in shape. Last year I was trying to give up sweets but broke that resolution a little!" 
Getting ready for New Year's Eve! Lindsay and SamRon have been shopping and running errands in Los Angeles the past few days. Stops included bikini shopping at Tracey Ross and LiLo's hair done at Lecompote. Then they were off to LAX and on their way to their joint co-hosting gig at Mansion on New Year's Eve, complete with a jungle setting and waterfalls!
Jessica Alba looked less movie star and more average chick out on the town as she took a night off from rearing Honor to party with her husband. Cash took his wife to Bardot and Crown bar last night.
