Katie Holmes, still in straight-legged jeans, gives daughter Suri a life in New York. Suri doesn't even bother with shoes, she knows her princess feet won't touch the ground! That lady looks like she is trying to get Suri to smile. Quit wasting your time!
Mommy and Me: Reese and Deacon
Reese Witherspoon treated her son Deacon to a trip to Toy Crazy in Los Angeles. She did something special and hiking up her heels for the outing. Soon she'll be on the promo trail with Vince Vaughn for Four Christmases.

Heidi Montag changed up her normally pin straight hair in favor of some volume last night. She headed out to dine at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills with her boyfriend Spencer Pratt.
Shopping with the Tiz and Vanessa
The Tiz and Vanessa Hudgens both headed out to do some shopping yesterday, with Ashley in the Valley and Vanessa in Beverly Hills. Vanessa can get right over being shy; you don't walk down the street in Beverly Hills mid-day and not expect paparazzi. On a weirder note, Ashley said that she recently was approached while eating by a group of girls asking for autographs, which she granted until one of their mom's demanded Ashley offer bites of her salad to the kids so they could say they shared a meal with her. She said, “She wasn’t joking and she wouldn’t go away when I said no. It was so odd that a grown woman would do that, especially in front of her kids. It was so wrong.”
The Happy Panettiere Family
Last night, Hayden Panettiere's family went out to dinner at Buca Di Beppo to celebrate her brother Jansen's 14th birthday. What they were not celebrating is that their dad Alan was formally charged with misdemeanor battery stemming from the incident last month where he hit his wife once or twice in the face with a closed fist. He will face up to a year in prison for the incident which Hayden calls a “misunderstanding [that was] blown way out of proportion by a sheriff who wanted his 15 minutes of fame.” Way to make friends in blue and stick up for your mom!
Hilary Duff Parties for Manolo
Hilary Duff hit the red carpet last night in Beverly Hills. She attended an event honoring Manolo Blahnik. Whoever was responsible for slipcovering that couch should be fired.
Mommy and Me: Salma and Valentina
Salma Hayek takes her daughter Valentina to visit her daddy, Francois-Henri Pinault, at his home in Paris. On the work front, Salma is busy wearing her producer's cap, working on two new television shows, including a wedding-themed reality show.

The Office Returns Tonight
Jenna and John are hard at work on the new season of The Office, which returns tonight with the office involved in a weight loss competition. So happy to have my Fall tv back!

Soundbites: Shenae Grimes
Shenae Grimes, the 18-year-old star of 90210, took to her blog after photogs published a photo of her smoking as she left a store with 6 cartons of smokes to spare. She also discusses commentary that she could stand to eat a couple sandwiches. Can't say that her answer endears her AT ALL. In fact, she's the opposite of a role model and basically tells her fans to STFU.

I didnt think my next blog would be so soon, but I guess it is! But what im here to blog about is my recent cover of the tabliods and my highly criticized smoking habit. Now, as you all know now probably, I graced my first major magazine cover, only to be called "too skinny" alongside my co-star Jessica Stroup. I would like to say once again that neither me or Jessica have issues with our weight or bodies. I happened to be very small built, and ive always been skinny. So I personally think that people need to stop criticizing everyone in the media these days about their issues. Im sure you wouldnt like it if someone pointed out all of your flaws and all of your mistakes... but thats what the media does to us. Anyways, im ranting.. so onto my next issue.
Tmz has criticized my smoking habit. I cant say that im proud of it, but there are so many people struggling with the addiction nowadays. I started smoking at about 16, and 1 in 5 teenagers smoke. Im not going to really go into the issue, but my hope is that you will all just stop hating and get on with it. I smoke. My choice. Im sorry if you dont like it, but this is who I am... Ive read some of the comments, they arrent the most supportive, but im doing the best to ignore them and just move on.Haha welll.... I guess thats it, just wanted to get my thoughts and ideas out there....

Don't you love how she busts out teen smoking facts, that lots of people are addicted (so why shouldn't she be?) and that she's been smoking since she was 16 (what do you want, a cookie?)? She sounds like a middle schooler debating with her mom. Seriously, girl, do yourself a favor and find a publicist who'll shut you up for your own good.
The City Films in the City
Whitney Port was photographed filming a scene for her show, The City, in New York with her boyfriend. Word is that he is nothing more than a prop to make the show interesting and that Whitney is spending time with her ex-boyfriend, E! News movie critic Ben Lyons.
Girls Next Door are Moving On
Rumors persist that this will be the last season with the original cast from The Girls Next Door. What I'm hearing is that Kendra (who is engaged to the Eagles' Hank Baskett) and Bridget (who also reportedly has a boyfriend) will leave the show next season and new girls are already being interviewed to take part after that. This interview makes it pretty clear they are ready for new things and concerned with who is coming to take their places.
Captain Jack Sparrow is Coming Back
Johnny Depp has signed a 3 picture deal with Disney as he seems to be single-handedly reviving their rides to their former glory. He's currently filming Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, in which he plays the Mad Hatter. When that raps, he's star in The Lone Ranger, followed by Pirates of the Caribbean 4.
90210 at Work and Play
Shanae Grimes takes advantage in a break from shooting to grab some lunch (which included grapes and watermelon) before the cameras rolled on 90210. What an adorable dress! Meanwhile her co-stars found time to hit up a party for Rock Band for Xbox 360 in Hermosa. Shannen Doherty, Tristan Wilds, and Ryan Eggold rocked out together.
D&G Show in Milan
