DJ AM & Travis Barker in Plane Crash

Travis Barker and DJ AM were in a private jet crash last night that left the other four passengers dead. The performed a free concert last night in South Carolina and were heading home to Southern California. Both men are in a burn unit and are now listed in critical but stable condition. Doctors claim both men should make a full recovery, with DJ AM's injuries primarily to his neck and face and Travis' injuries primarily to his torso. Both Travis' ex-wife Shanna Moakler and AM's ex-girlfriend Mandy Moore are with the injured musicians.

The Teen Vogue Hollywood party last night may as well have been the Disney/Nickelodeon party. With only a couple exceptions, it was mania! Black was the color of dress for the night for the ladies while the men were content looking as metro as possible. I bet the Disney kids think they are way better than those Nick kids.

Hilary Swank is recovering after having a minor procedure to have a small growth removed. She released a statement which read that she was “experiencing some discomfort and went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action that included a brief hospitalization to remove a small, benign growth. Her condition has been resolved and there are no continuing health issues, with the exception of some short-term rest and recuperation." No other information was released.

LC & Jessica Find Causes to Fight For

Lauren Conrad has team up with Mark cosmetics to fight dating violence. She writes, "I have partnered with mark in its first initiative, aimed at ending the cycle of dating abuse and violence. Women ages 16-24 experience the highest rates of partner violence, and mark and I want to change that statistic. Abuse is a devastating cycle. By purchasing this necklace for yourself and your friends, you'll support the cause and raise awareness." Twenty dollars from every $22 "Have A Heart" necklace sold will help fund the project.

Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson will lend her voice to Nina's Night Out, a Las Vegas concert which raises money for the Rape Crisis Center in Las Vegas. She stated, "I think this will be a more passionate performance than most. It's important to make a stand for women's rights. If I can get up there and be any inspiration to women, I am blessed to have that opportunity. The great thing about Nina's Night Out is it's a message of prevention. I think it's important as a woman to lend a hand to other women and just try to encourage people that everything's going to be okay."

The money raised will go to his namesake, Tom's Ward, at the Children's Hospital in Oxford. Wills was a no-show at the event.
