So my friend Darcy says I'm seriously missing out by not reading the Twilight series that fans go rabid over. I'm trying to wait for my next hospital stay to get to it, but the more I hear, the more curious I am. Any fans out there?

OMG I am in love with the books DON! I am team edward all the way! I saw the premier going on last night when I drove threw Westwood. I wanted to stop but I didn't given that I would have been the oldest fan out there. ;)

Never heard of this book series until last week. There was close to a riot at Stonestown Shopping Center (San Francisco) when Robert Pattison was scheduled for an autograph session - people lined up over night, fainted, fought, got trampled, etc. The police had to come in and tell everyone to go home. Only after the mall hired a security detail were they allowed to hold the event
the books sell amazingly well (i work in a book store) and one of my collegues loves them, ive heard many mixed reviews, people either love or hate them, theres no 'okays'
im personally not gonna bother, im just gonna go see the movie! which looks good from what ive seen of the trailors, a bit cheesy maybe... we'll see. have fun if you do go see it DON xxxx
