Without a Trace actress Poppy Montgomery, 35, and her boyfriend, actor Adam Kaufman, welcomed a son just before Christmas. Jackson Phillip Kaufman was born in Los Angeles on December 23rd. The couple have been together three years and have no plans to marry.

Brit Brit on Lockdown

Britney Spears was placed on a 72 hour lockdown for a mental evaluation today after she locked herself in a room with Jayden James at her home and refused to hand him over to ex-husband Kevin Federline. The police were called about a custodial dispute around 7 p.m. last night. By 11 p.m. it was determined that the children were supposed to be with their father, Kevin. The court-appointed monitor who is always with the children when they are with Britney took Sean Preston to the car of Kevin's assistant. During this time, Britney locked herself and her youngest son in a room and refused to come out.

Eventually cops burst into the room and tied Britney, who was said to be on an unknown substance, to a gurney. The court monitor and Jayden rode in the ambulence that carried Brit to the hospital while Kevin's assistant followed with Sean. After midnight, Kevin took the boys home. His attorney is filing a motion to strip Britney of all rights this morning. Britney's father, Jamie, remains at the hospital with his daughter.

Britney finally attended her deposition yesterday, but was an hour late and stayed only for thirty minutes. When asked if Kevin's attorney was nice to her, she yelled, "No!"

Britney was reportedly admitted as a "special needs" patient, meaning "they have either overdosed or tried to commit suicide" and require supervision to ensure they do not try to hurt themselves. It is now being reported that blood tests came back negative for drugs or alcohol. Her problems seem to be largely mental.

Brit's New Friend

So, Britney has seemingly ditched her buddy Sam since the tabs stories broke about his shady past. Her new companion is Adnan Ghalib, 35, a paparazzi photographer who tails her. They have hung out several times in hotel rooms, first on Dec. 22 at the Peninsula in Beverly Hills, as well as riding around in her car as she left her West Hollywood home.

Yesterday, the pair were in Palm Springs. Wednesday in Palm Springs before returning back to her place in Los Angeles. They checked into a $1200 per night villa at Le Parker Meridien (with Brit in a wig and glasses) at 2:30 a.m. They were seen leaving, with two bodyguards, at 7:30 a.m. the next morning.

When I was in Europe I would play this game for hours and hours... it helped me zone out. Everybody would get envolved... Derrick Dudley (Common's manager) and Consequence were the best other than me... I beat Lexi... Don C beat Jay... Tony Williams beat Common... but every now and then people would speak of this legendary connect 4 champion........... BEYONCE!!! I had 2 play her!...so last night at Jay's new 40/40 club in Las Vegas (which is sidebar, crazy big w/ 24krt gold flooring, Black Jack tables, $500 slot machines,the biggest projection screen in the universe and the best turkey burgers I've ever had in my life) she beat me 9 times in a row! (and I didn't even spaz lol) here's a photo of the only game I won!

Gettin' busy in Italy! Lindsay spent some time with waiter Alessandro Di Nunzio after meeting him upon her arrival at the Capri film fest. He was at a screening for a movie starring Hayden Panetierre, and Lindsay attended with the star, but left with Alessandro and was soon seen dining and then making out with him at her hotel.

The next night she went out with an older Italian actor, Eduardo Costa, who she was also seen kissing.

But on Sunday, Lindsay was out and kissing local Italian actor Dario Faiella. She later partied with him and brought him back to her hotel. The two emerged on her balcony the next morning. Think she relapsed?
