Michael Vick Suspended from NFL

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell notified Michael Vick today that he is indefinitely suspended without pay from the National Football League, effective immediately.Following are excerpts from Commissioner Goodell's letter Vick:

"Your admitted conduct was not only illegal, but also cruel and reprehensible. Your team, the NFL, and NFL fans have all been hurt by your actions.Your plea agreement and the plea agreements of your co-defendants also demonstrate your significant involvement in illegal gambling. Even if you personally did not place bets, as you contend, your actions in funding the betting and your association with illegal gambling both violate the terms of your NFL Player Contract and expose you to corrupting influences in derogation of one of the most fundamental responsibilities of an NFL player. You have engaged in conduct detrimental to the welfare of the NFL and have violated the league's Personal Conduct Policy."

Get Ready to Boogie

I'm aware that I'm losing respect from most of you with these embarrassing admissions, but I just love HSM 2. This morning, I got up early to clean my apartment before my sister and dog, Roadie, show up for my first weekend at home in LA in weeks. So I put on HSM 2 while I cleaned and was wondering why they do a sing-a-long version when they should be doing a dance-a-long version where they teach those super fabulous and super gay dance moves.



Somebody is reading my mind. Disney announced today that on Sept. 8 at 8 p.m. the whole cast will host yet another screening and teach viewers on how to imitate their dances during the opening ("What Time Is It") and closing numbers ("All For One").

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are still bumping uglies. They are in Europe with Pete's band, Fall Out Boy, and after a concert in London last night, they headed to an after party at London's Chinawhite Bar & Nightclub.

Also working up a sweat in Brentwood is Josh Duhamel, keeping busy while his girlfriend is out promoting her new purse line and touring.

Jessica Simpson claimed she broke her nose while filming a scene for Major Movie Star and that she can only go on shooting by the power of make-up. Riiiiight! She looks fine to me. Damn good for somebody with a broken nose!

Big House Bound: Austin Nichols

Austin Nichols, 27, whose HBO show John from Cincinnati just got cancelled, was arrested for a DUI in Jackson, Michigan at 2:30 a.m. this morning. Austin has been living in Clark Lake this summer with extended family members. Austin once dated Sophia Bush and is close friends and biking buddies with Jake Gyllenhaal.

Upgrade: Milo

Milo Ventimiglia never did anything for me, but, damn, he can hang a suit can't he? Here he is at the opening of Bar Nineteen12 in Los Angeles last night.

Mommy and Me: Courteney and Coco

Courteney tries her hand at surfing while on vacation in Hawaii with her family and Jennifer Aniston. God, I love how sassy Coco is. Her and Maddox will be the hottest couple ever in about 20 years.

Getting Fiesty

Posh looked on during a sold-out game for the LA Galaxy last night. David Beckham had just flown in from Europe after playing for England and had only 6 hours to prepare for the game. On the field, some drama went down. A player on the other team came up to Beckham and gave him a high kick to the upper right hip during injury time, which he claims was retaliation for another play and apologized because the kick was much harder than he intended. Beckham fell forward, got up and ran over to the guy and a shouting match ensued. A ref tried to move Becks away, but he swung away from him and the two teams started to clash. Defender Alex Zotinca of Chivas USA head-butted Galaxy midfielder Kevin Harmse, and another threw a punch to a player, while David circled out of the skirmish.

WTF: Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse was pictured with blood on her clothes, face and shoes as she ran out of a London hotel where she was staying with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil. Guests said they were arguing loudly, then Amy ran out chased by Blake, and flagged down a car. Hours later, the two were photographed walking with their arms around each other. Amy reportedly contacted gossip queen Perez Hilton via text and stated, "Blake is the best man in the world. We would never ever harm each other. I was cutting myself after he found me in our room about to do drugs with a call girl and rightly said I wasn't good enough for him. I lost it and he saved my life."

Ok, who sends a text like that? No way. Whatever the situation, I really hope she gets some help. She's one talented trainwreck.

Kiki's Hotel Room Plundered!

Ew. Who would want anything touched by Kirsten Dunst? You'd need rubber gloves and tongs to get anywhere near her belongings. Seriously, she'd be prime material for an episode of Room Raiders where they go through everybody's nasties. The show would be like a two hour special.

Anyway, they stole her Marc Jacobs and Balenciaga handbags, cameras, cash and an iPod at 5 a.m. when she left her hotel to go shoot scenes for How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. No shampoo, toothpaste, or other hygiene products were reported missing, probably because there were none there to begin with. No word on how her precious Ray-Bans made out.

Catch and Release

Nicole Richie checked into jail at 3:15 p.m. this afternoon. She was booked at Lynwood, which recently housed her bff Paris Hilton. Joel and her attorney took her in. Due to overcrowding, she was processed, booked, and released at 4:37 PM today. Just 82 minutes of hard time for the 105 lbs. mother-to-be. Justice?

Paris in Hollywood

Hate to say it, but Paris has been killing it lately. Here she is heading out to the clubs last night looking maybe the best she's ever looked (minus that lame glove) and she looks great (minus that gold cami) as she shopped in L.A. today. This confuses me.

Make It Stop

Here's the understated and elegant Brooke Hogan at the record release party for musical mastermind Swizz Beatz in New York Tuesday night. I really don't get the whole "I'm super wholesome but dress like trash" thing. Pick a team and stick to it! Good girls don't get to wear denim chaps and leopard teddys in public.

Mommy and Me: Katie and Suri

Katie Holmes took a spill this morning while out with her daugther, Suri, 16 months, in Paris. Here she is heading back to the hotel to clean-up and change. Katie twisted her ankle, fell and cut her knee, but managed to walk home and carry a napping Suri all the way.
