DON's Deal

Speaking of vacays...hate to do this to you, but DON will be off to the lake for some much needed R&R next week. DAK is graciously hosting our rowdy, beer guzzling, rope swinging, raccoon fearing, lunge n' chugggin', Ring of Fire and ahole playing, waterskiing and stunt flipping off the docks motley crew again this year. Posts should resume on Thursday!

Due for a Vacay

Life is hard being Spencer and Heidi. Plastic surgery to recover from, swimsuit paparazzi moments to stage, fake engagements to report, and fighting with former best friends and ultimately the only reason they have a meal ticket. So they've earned this little vacay.

Spencer is sporting some peach fuzz that I think really suits him, while Heidi reads up on the best battle plan for revenge.

Summer Party

The Summer Serpentine party is an annual fundraiser, which raises money for the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in London. Loads of celebs, random and not, attended. It seems like everybody who attended looked outstanding or outrageous. The best type of party!

Hilary Duff picks up some beauty products at Alter Ego Health & Beauty in Beverly Hills yesterday. She is never without those gold hoops! Hilary recently spoke to Seventeen magazine about some of the pressing issues of a 19-year-old celebrity.

On ex-boyfriend Joel Madden:“I was really happy in my relationship with Joel. I was with him from age 16 to 18. Those are important years. He’s my first love, so I’ll always care about him. But I definitely feel like a different person now that we broke up. And I DO feel happy! All of the going out he did after we broke up sort of shocked me. Like, that’s just so out of character for him, and when we were together, he hated stuff like that, so I felt like I just really didn’t know him as well as I thought I did.”



On Joel dating Nicole Richie:“With the amount of time that we had invested in each other, I felt disrespected that he moved on so quickly…But some people don’t want to deal with how they feel, so they cover it up. Rebound! I shouldn’t say that. You know what, though? Now I don’t care.”



On her parents divorcing:“Normally parents get divorced when you’re young and then you just grow up with that being normal. But I’m 19 - basically an adult - and it hit me like a brick in the face…I was confused and finally learned that parents are just people - which is devastating in a way.”

Now, I've come to expect oddness from both of these women, but seeing them together at the Hugo Boss Fashion Show is too much. Both are wearing loose silver mini-dresses sans bras. But in an effort to out-weird Mischa, Christina Ricci has chopped her hair to complete the "give me Catherine Zeta Jones' role in the next Chicago remake" look.

Getting Gay for Chuck & Larry

The stars of I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry and some other randoms came out to attend. Kevin James, Adam Sandler, Jessica Biel, Anna Faris, Lance Bass, Ray Romano, and Seth Green all showed up. Adam has lost a ton of weight in his face! Jessica's dress makes me think of when the birds and squirrels are putting together the dress for Cinderella, but aren't quite finished yet. And Anna Faris' outfit is no big win, but she looks pretty great for somebody going through a divorce.
