Kiefer Sutherland was sentenced to 48 days in jail on Wednesday. This stems from his recent DUI arrest as well as for violating his probation. He checked into jail yesterday afternoon to begin his sentence immediately. He will be housed in his own cell and must also comply with five years of probation, 18 months of alcohol education and six months of weekly therapy. He was permitted to serve out his time at the Glendale City Jail, which is a lot less scary than jail in L.A. County.
