She said, "God had blessed me with so many wonderful things in my life, and I will spend my entire life trying to figure out why. If you had told me a few years ago I would have been nominated with the people that I have been nominated with, I would have called you absolutely insane."

Meanwhile, fellow American Idol alum Kellie Pickler broke down on stage while singing "Wonder," a song about her mother who left her at age 2. By the end of the song, she was in tears and the audience was on their feet.
