Paris Hilton was released from Lynwood correctional facility shortly after midnight to spend the rest of her sentence at home wearing an electronic monitoring device. The reason given was a medical condition that required special attention. She will be credited with five days of time served and has 40 more to go at home.

this is an embarassment to our legal system.
I totally agree that this is an embarrasement. She should have to stay in jail and serve her time even if she is ill. They have doctors to take care of inmates. Furthermore, having to hang out in her mansion is hardly punishment.
so she can do all the blow and have all the choregraphed sex she wants...
