Getting Close to Official

Nicholas Lachey and Jessica Simpson Lachey, as they are named on their California divorce court documents, are almost officially dunzo. They have agreed to speed the divorce along as quickly as possible by leaving the money negotiations for later. Team Jessica is responsible for the fees, so I'm assuming it's her idea to rush to divorce.

She has offered Nick $1.5 million in settlement, which is pretty much a joke considering she made much more than $10 million during their marriage. While Nick's attorneys have reserved the right for alimony, he has stated that he will not ask for any.


UPDATE: It's offically over! Their divorce was granted today, June 30th. RIP Golden Couple.
